If AVA6000 is sucessful, whic I'm sure it will, it will make the covid tests look like chump change. So, if you've read anything about Avacta in reasonable depth you know that the covid tests are a money bonus.
There is reasonable assurance that if AVA6000 is sucessful, Avacta will be taken over by a major Pharma. That will not be because it produced a Covid test, it will be because the Affimer based AVA6000 is a game changing Cancer therapy.

LTH were here for the cancer treatments, covid is a funding plus.

Its a fairly good presumption that Myles McNulty will know no more than we do - other than perhaps more info from people in the market. However, he's no wobbling and I think he owns nearly 1% of Avacta.

Avacta test is Saliva based & frontal nasal swap(not a brain scratcher). It also uses Affimers, which are much more efficent than antigen tests and are able to be more specific to what the are attaching to -thus reducing false positives & negatives.
The test you are talking about is BAMS. This uses a mass spectrometer and enables a hospital to process 1000+ tests a day, without the need for a highly qualified person. No specialised equipmment is needed because a high percentage of hospitals already have this equipment. Their test is also being certified fo home use as well as professional.

If it ever gets out of the lab, it will be a game changer!

..everyone didn't actually read the RNS though isn't it. Brucker have had the White paper on BAMS on their website since last year. Do we think they would do that and be linked to distribution if it didn't work? Brucker are huge, with existing customer base.

Interestingly...or not...Avacta closed at125 then went to 131 on IG Spreadbet then jumped back to 124.39
