Exactly Roger, they wouldn't be tweeting these specifics if they were at a stage where competition could still be an issue. Looks like the only dot left to join is ink on paper.....maybe not a done deal yet but these tweets are material signs of progress as far as I'm concerned.

Considering I've seen us rocket on leaks that have contained much less info than these tweets I'm surprised we aren't shifting already.....

SBP, I think maybe it's time to decide whether you believe in this share or not and stand by your decision for more than a day. These evening spats you decide to pick with seadog and then draw out for hours seem too orchestrated to be genuine concerns. You are certainly not stupid, I'll give you that, though whether your intelligence is being used in a morally acceptable way is another matter.

If you decide you're in then I think it's high time you backed your own share and used that sector knowledge to support your own investment. If you're out then be a man and walk away as how can anyone have this much interest in a share they have no money in without an ulterior motive? I know the predictable reply is that you like to debate both sides but who in their right mind would slag off a company as often as you do on a public forum when presumably looking for a return on an alleged investment? I smell a rat I'm afraid.

marbur and Joey, don't kid yourselves. You have to own shares to even begin that argument and we all know there's a lot more to the process than rainbow-chasing PIs making a small investment then company employees being paid. You really are a couple of morons.

I'm hoping seadog's silence this last day or two might also be a sign that insiders have been told to keep shtum for the time being due to something mahooosive incoming.....might just be wishful thinking but you never know. Seadog, if I'm right then send us some kind of code message like 'mahooosive deal incoming' :)

Really hope you're right seadog re: the placing as that's my biggest concern at present. Agree regarding the troll trash posting personal abuse on other boards. I bet if they were publicly appraised in this way then they would be left rather wanting....that's assuming they have jobs in the first place of course. Keyboard warriors of the lowest denomination and the more I read of that Icac character's posts, the more Khloechung comes to mind; that odd mix of advanced and broken English that he/she was so adept at on here.....

Objectively I would agree with you seadog....that's how I would read the tweets as well. Subjectively I'm just erring on the side of caution but definitely happy to see further confirmation from the company that what's being discussed here seems to be close to the money.....if they'd started tweeting about new and exciting prospects in Iran then I would seriously consider becoming a troll myself!

True seadog, they are slowly trickling further details, presumably to the extent they are currently permitted. The question is whether it's because they are bursting to tell everyone everything that's been going on but are effectively gagged at present, or as Belfort says to keep the punters warm. I'm really hoping they wouldn't be stupid enough to try the latter and lead people up the garden path once again, and indeed conversations with Simon suggest the former, but I suppose it's all irrelevant in some ways until they can get something over the line.

Fair points Mukka and Benjdroid but if the NDA explanation is true re: MF deal and we are governed by PVF regarding GH news then it's either tweets or silence. Very frustrating situation but I really am keeping everything crossed that the silence is for the right reasons this time.

Good to have your input again DonDon.....definitely one of the more balanced posters and your thought processes and reservations are very similar to my own. It's great to have seadog's positivity and endless research and indeed that has kept a lot of us going through the darker periods, but even he was blindsided by the Beaufort placing and I have the same concerns as you that one must be due at some point. My dilemna is whether it will be pre or post-deal (if indeed a deal is completed).

I'm hoping seadog's (and the company's) intimations are correct that it will not be needed pre-deal but if the negotiations go on much longer or indeed they don't complete for any reason then it's difficult to see how there won't be one. Granted it's how most AIM companies finance themselves (the oilies in particular) but you do wonder how much longer this one can trade on the potential of a concept. My eggs are all in one basket so I hope they bring the fecking rodizio bacon home soon.....
