Agreed....not saying you will receive anything revolutionary from those enquiries as Simon is obviously restricted to what's already in the public domain, but nothing like seeing the whites of the eyes, as they say....or in this case hearing the whites of the eyes, unless of course you're really taking seadog's advice to heart and heading to Manchester tomorrow!

Companies and therefore IROs are of course capable of deceiving and misleading too, but there is a degree more accountability than the Toms, Dicks and Trolls that shamelessly mislead on these boards. Good luck!

You make some valid points Roy, no question there, but if you've been holding since February then please do not delay in contacting investor relations rather than becoming one of those who who relies too much on these boards or, worse still, uses these boards to satisfy a personal agenda.

Roy, if you've been in for 2 years then just curious as to why contacting Simon has just occurred to you now as some kind of epiphany off the back of seadog's suggestion? Not making beef, as it were, just curious and especially given the complaints many post on here without (strangely) ever having thought to contact the company directly with these concerns.

Surely Simon's appointment would have been very welcome news to you, as it was to the rest of us invested for some time? The trolls who spend their time posting that he simply posts tweets and collects his monthly salary clearly have no idea or desire to make use of investor relations in the most meaningful way. Establishing personal contact, asking all your burning questions and making your own investment decisions based on answers from source rather than reading between the lines of hundreds of different agendas on these boards is priceless imo. As a bright chap, I'm surprised you haven't made use of that resource yet but seem to be quoting rather dubious posters from other boards as reliable sources of information?

The clue is in the title and it doesn't constitute the sole comms strategy of all listed companies. If there is nothing official to release then you won't get an RNS, simples; tweets are also a hell of a lot cheaper until official 'RNS worthy' news becomes available.

Fair play Frank; we each have our own take on it and it's true that until the company puts something definitive out there, any one of us could be right.....for what it's worth my point regarding the tweets is that for some time now they have been the only means of communicating due to NDAs and probably also a stubborn Mr. M, but the wording is gradually becoming more and more nuanced. To me that's significant, to you it's regurgitation of existing facts......as I said, each to their own.

Can't categorically argue against that Frank as at the moment it is indeed all moot. Yes Frank but I think you may be missing the point. If you gave specific reference to which queen you were having lunch with then you'd look a bit of a tool if it transpired that that queen had never been in discussions with you,or indeed had never heard of you. The point is that yes there are clearly still variables at play, otherwise the share price would be a f*ckload higher than it is now, but the fact they are introducing specifics in company comms is very significant imo.
