They are indeed cryptic wobwat but I suppose I'm taking the more optimistic view that those subtle tweets are all they can squeeze out at the moment without breaking any rules or letting the cat out of the bag. That's my optimistic take on it for the time being, though certainly not without my own concerns and frustrations.

I find your take on Brazil encouraging; agree also that they should be updating on all developments, be they positive or negative. Last time I spoke to Simon on GH it was supposedly a technical issue that couldn't be resolved on site so needed shipment of X for repair.....that was some time ago but also got the impression they were/are very much governed by speed at which PVF choose to progress things. Presumably there must be at least some kind of update available since then so yes, they should absolutely inform the market, regardless of what pace PVF are moving at.

To me that's an interesting introduction of the financial element to the tweets; could of course just be regurgitated hot air as some no doubt believe, or could be a hint of imminent deal structures or, even better, a very, very subtle hint that there won't be a placing this side of a deal.....or is that just my wishful thinking??

The plot thickens...care to share any of those names? Would be helpful to know who to look out for if my spidey senses fail to spot the dragging knuckles....

That board is like a special creche where all the strange children get put because nobody quite knows what to do with them. Don't post on there but check in from time to time to see what's being said, which in itself is a challenge that often requires Google translate...

seadog, I agree with 99% of what you post and have mentioned that before, but I am a little surprised you are venturing into the 'no placement' territory again. With the greatest of respect, you were actually making similar projections about cash left in the pot versus months remaining when most of us got blindsided by the Beaufort placing. Your calculations may well have been accurate, but we still got blindsided. I'm not saying there's going to be another one this side of a deal and I'm not saying there isn't, as I simply don't know. Just interested that you seem so sure this time around given the company surprised even you last time?

Fair comments seadog and Sharelock.....will maintain my own reservations but definitely hoping all is still on track.

I suspect they're moving on more than one but the fact comms have shifted slightly from focusing on Brazil to incorporating others is what I'm a bit concerned about.

Best case scenario is that Brazil is all but concluded and the shift is a shrewd move to make us aware there are other deals in the pipeline so that there isn't a flurry of selling on conclusion of the first one. Worst case scenario is that the Brazil deal is now in jeopardy and they are resorting to damage limitation by shifting focus to other target deals. As seadog regularly points out, we haven't received anything from the company to suggest the deal isn't progressing as planned, though I suspect we wouldn't receive anything other than official confirmation it's off, or just more silence until interest wanes.

I really hope it's the best case scenario!!
