Cefncribwr, there is so much potential for Diageo in the non alcohol space. Guinness Zero tastes so like the alcohol version. As consumers are reducing alcohol intake then do what the tobacco companies are doing and push resources into the areas that consumers want to consume. Creativity, crikey !! Enjoyment of Diageo's products doesn't have to get one drunk !! Apart from the Zero or Low Alcohol beers, Diageo could produce low / no alcohol whisky / whiskey cream liqueres, biscuits, chocolates, icecream, prepared meals, etc...

I have confidence in Linda Cooke, even if today's price action shows many don't, even though I feel many of today's sellers are focused more on income than growth. A business like HBR has to use leverage to grow given the UK Govt's criminal EPT theft !! I can see HBR being a much more prominent O&G business by 2027, it may even be bought out by one of the Majors in the medium term given its attractive international portfolio !!

Agree with you meoryou. Very surprised the share price didn't increase materially today. I know it's another CEO in a short number of years, nearly competing with UK Prime Ministers !! , but this looks a very positive change for BP and us shareholders.

1863, forecasts not met years ago could be excused as times were different then, it was much earlier in the development of hydrogen as an energy source. Also there were many different people in management. The CWR management are meant to be running the business, no grovelling taking place but just a focus on those responsible. No point blaming the receptionist or a junior clerk !! And calling people stupid on here becomes personal and is unacceptable.

ThickLucy, I did say that CWR management need to reply to Grizzly, but others were so sure that they didn't need to because Goldman Sachs had 'replied' and that Grizzly's statement was so outrageous !! 'Silence gives consent' still applies and I wonder why it seems so much of an effort for CWR management to reply at least in a general way rather than answering each point, surely the whole activity would take less than 4 labour hrs ?!!

Nigb, no-one is a real 'expert' on the stockmarket unfortunately !! I bought some at 262p recently after the first day 'Grizzly' drop and now perusing some more but when are these going to level off ?!!! I disagree morally with shorting and feel those who lend shares are beneath contempt whatever the civil law allows.
