Just guessing, but possibly the likes of BT is sold (traded) today to get dosh to buy some of those shares that are doing so well today. Importance of portfolio approach. BT will do very well on another day when others aren't doing so well.....50% up in the last 6 months ain't too bad !!

Per the news today, surely It's the smoker's responsibility to dispose of their butt's correctly ? Are all the other relevant businesses who make various products that end up as litter on the street to also be made pay for their cleanup? Hi Cruz2492, all imho but watch the price because many times I've sold out too early and weeks later it's much higher than I sold at. You may be correct, future will tell. Agree that potential has to be converted into value for success and this BOD/Mgt seem to be very lacking in their knowledge to make this a successful business. Requirements are also evolving faster than they are taking to get really started, eg masks that allow lip reading. I remain invested and cautiously optimistic also for other parts of the business.

Ade1234, investors sell for all sorts of reasons, maybe the 'owner' had tax to pay, maybe knew of another perceived better investment, maybe wanted to buy a bigger/more expensive house ? He sold at 5p, current price circa 1.65p, so this will probably double in the coming months especially considering third virus waves and multiple new variants. Isn't it worth staying invested for a near certain 100% return in the next few months or can you provide us all with a better investment please ? All IMHO

Hi Johnace, re Alerts, your broker should have that facility unless you hold a share cert in which case there are websites that allow for free but maybe with 15-20 minute price delay. GSK isn't fortunately a share that one usually needs to constantly watch, as more LTH, unless day trading it.

Agree generally with you Devonplay, but could take well more than 5 years. Stamp collecting will eventually become more popular but I plan on giving my many stamps, including many first day covers going back to 1966 Battle of Hastings, to my grandkids who aren't even born yet....that's a long investment !! Eventually the cycle returns !!

It who've been 90% commissioned via Zoom whilst in Spain and the fine tuning done mostly by Zoom by the asymptomatic Spanish engineers whilst in UK. DimSim, the Corp Tax increases aren't taking place, if at all, until 2023/4. Sunak and Tories have to be seen to balance the books and an election will be imminent soon after 2023 so probably just profit taking ?
