Ray if you went the price to go up to the levels you're talking about you need new money coming in, so should be welcoming new Investors.

Yesterday's volume was the highest in over a year.

Significant number of sellers yesterday makes sense with it being at the previous ATH (Oct 2021) level - which will normally be a battleground.

However the profile of the buys suggests persistent buyers (which to me represents a number of new buyers coming in), with a couple of larger dumps (around 3 mil shares sold at these times). This ties in with my own buying experience, where I found they had around 3 to 4 mil shares available before they ran out and had to move the price up - the reverse would be true.

So to me it looks like some slicing took place yesterday, but it was happily eaten up by the market.

On top of that you've got traders that think we are still ranging who will try to dump and buy back lower, but I think they'll have to buy back in higher and this strategy will not be as effective as just holding.

It all looks very positive, but we'll see what next week brings. It does feel like price discovery will start, and very much feels like the Argo experience to me (and presumably the other similar company runs that have been mentioned).

New money needs a reason to come in - and at the moment there isn't one. They may as well issue a series of memecoins and hope one comes off.

Bbnpo1, I agree this might move faster than some think, but your posting every 5 seconds won't facilitate this. Please ease off as you'll put people off buying. A few posts a day fine, but every few mins will have the opposite effect than you think it will. To verify, try not posting tomorrow and see what the price does.

Got another 3.5 mil just there, you'll see them come through shortly. They're out of shares now I'll need to wait a bit to finish my buying.

What you talking about kat? Are you upset your day trade is not panning out or something? Learn to read the market and you'll have more success.

Baz you've clearly not seen how shares can move when they are the chosen one. Look at what Argo Blockchain did in 20/21. To me this has a similar feeling. I don't know how high this goes but it is clearly on the move. Watch and learn.

Baz you should never have bought if you don't even know what market is on. It's on LSE main market, not aim.

Generally I avoid aim and would not have bought here had it been aim.

No never does, I thought with bitcoin at 100k (ignoring today), miners would have been a lot higher, but they've really not performed this year.

HC, the Bitcoin miners are doing alright at the moment. Particularly CLSK and IREN have a large amount of hash, but efficient machines and decent input costs. CLSK wrote off some older machines the other quarter, so their depreciation for Q1 should look ok. They'll also get FASB uplift - so provided BTC doesn't drop too much further by year end, they should show very good results.

Red, the issue with the HPC route is that it is expensive and time consuming and the company cannot afford the expense or the time. They also have no expertise in HPC.

The stopping of mining on the 28th is an issue because they have ongoing costs (senior notes interest, but also wages, insurance, etc) that mean they are still seeing money out the door each month.

It's not the fault of Jim though, who I actually think is a huge asset to the company. I think if he had been in place instead of Alex then it may have been a completely different story.

I'll likely buy some HC but also need to think about getting out on the other side - with such low liquidity I can't go in with meaningful size. Hopefully the bitcoin miners have a bit of a run soon so I can make some rotations.

HC, it does look very tempting I must admit.

Why are they on bad exchanges? AIM and TSX-V? I don't like either of these.

Also if they want to re-rate they should buy bitcoin and make a gimmick of it - mining physical gold and turning it into digital gold - some nonsense like that, it would re-rate fast even if just a token amount.
