If you hold no other shares, I’d contact ii. I’d be surprised if they charge you £9.99 per month for a portfolio worth nothing. If they say they won’t charge you, obviously get confirmation in writing.
@WolfofWarks “…I’m sorry people lost money…”
We have been verbally abused precisely for trying to prevent people losing their money - especially for warning the newbies that this share was not as some people were portraying.
The newbies will have to learn from their mistakes. I wish they hadn’t lost their money but they are adults, free to make their own decisions. On the other hand, people like Poor and anyone who voted up his bullying and abusive comments deserve every arrogant penny of their losses.
You can see some people haven’t learned due to their plugs for other shares.
@Hexam: “…like his accusations of lying when it is him that is not telling telling the truth…”
Thank you for that observation as I wasn’t aware he’s done that to others. I’d seen him do the other things I mentioned to others but not that.
“Instead their replies were often smug, pompous, patronising or just plain abusive (sometimes all four).”
The fourth seemed to come first. It seems to be the default response.
“There have been plenty of repellant trolls too - but at least they were right in the end.“
Beware of falling for this - trolls claiming their targets are trolls. The chief troll was poorinvester, who tried to cover that by accusing his targets of trolling him. Similarly, he bullies people while claiming his targets are bullying him. And he lies, for example claiming I lied about him when I haven’t - his repeated allegations of lies are lies. It’s all projection and manipulation.
I put him on the spot by challenging him to quote my supposed lies - not once has he done so. I even asked him in this thread.
Incidentally, my first encounter with poorinvester was when I expressed a different opinion to him and he responded with verbal abuse. He does the same with many others. It’s what he does - he tries to control the narrative by trying to shut down anyone who disagrees with him.
Verbal abuse, lying while accusing his target of lying, bullying while accusing his target of bullying - it’s all variations of the same.
“Wolf, you are talking nonsense. I clearly said to you again and again last year that cinema’s will not close, especially around Xmas. When you were claiming they would. You clearly have trouble understanding.”
When I tell @evenpoorerinvester that, like a neutered dog, he doesn’t get it, he actually takes that as a challenge and comes back on here ASAP to try to prove that he doesn’t get it!
P.S. Cinema’s what will not close?
Yes, he is, as a box of rocks.
“Cloudy muppet, is just a joke. A one man comedy show. He posts fake posts, claiming I’ve posted it lol. What an idiot.”
Thank you, @evenpoorerinvester, for admitting that what I said about you is correct i.e. that when you accuse me of lying and I challenge you to quote the alleged lie, you do not do so because you know I haven’t lied. In other words, you lie about me lying. Why? You want to critiise me but you know you can’t because I’m right, so you make an ad hominem. It’s what weak people do.
All you have done here is make another unsubstantiated, false, allegation of lying. It’s childish, it’s pathetic, it’s very you.
I’ll say it again - you can’t fix stupid.
I understand why I annoy you so much. I’ve called you out as a bully, I’ve identified the stupidity of countless comments you’ve written, and I correctly predicted that CINE was destined to go under while you thought it’d make you rich. I’ve been proved right, you’ve been proved wrong AND you’ve lost a fortune. It hurts you - oh dear, never mind.
Sleep well x.
“Wolf, you are talking rubbish. I told you cinema’s will not shut and they didn’t. Cineworld has been saved, it’s become a new company. Now all that is remaining, is to see what happens to shareholders…”
Like a neutered dog, @poorinvester doesn’t get it.
You can’t fix stupid.
Hi @evenpoorerinvester.
Yes, I know - we’ve been here many times before. It’s your MO - you accuse me of lying (one of your many childish insults), I say quote the alleged lie, and you don’t because you can’t. You can’t help it - you’re all mouth - evolution’s way of taking advantage of the void in your skull.
Want to try again? OK, kiddie, quote my alleged lies. And… silence.
I hope you enjoyed setting fire to your money and to exposing yourself as a Walter Mitty.
You’re a clown. Please don’t stop because your posts are funny - so many people laugh at you.
Title: “We Have All Got Done”.
No, we haven’t. Many did their research and saw this company for what it was. Most said nothing and walked away. A few - the altruistic ones - warned people on here. Their reward? Verbal abuse. Many got so fed up they walked away and left you to your fate.
@poorinvester (now @evenpoorerinvester) told me that it was up to you how you spend your money and it was - we respected your right to set fire to it, and you did, whooping and hollering. Now that you view the ashes, please don’t express surprise.
“I knew for months that is could happen I am not stupid.”
Err, really? Only 5 days ago you said this:

The Difference is Thomas Cook and Debenhams Didn’t Have a Future.
The Truth is Cineworld Does Have a Future”
Spoiler:
1. It’s now worth 0.0p
2. Cineworld warned you that was going to happen FOUR months ago.
Hi AimMaster2018.
CINE has finally gone under. People who unwisely bought in, after conducting in-depth analysis (a 5-second look at the SP graph) have still been saying, AFTER it was suspended yesterday, that maybe they’ll be OK and get their money back.
A certain impoverished invester (sic) continued to spout rubbish. He predicted the SP would rise - it fell but he still claimed to have made a profit on that!
I hope you are well.
@Takeapuntortwo
Even Google Translate couldn’t decipher that.
“Ive been following two analysts for 25 years there never far away they say hold anyway …”
LOL. As if one analyst, never mind two, would have told you that.
Here we have an insight into the depth of the delusion. The writing has been on the wall for CINE for ages but people wouldn’t believe it, blinded by fantasises of a “multi-bagger”.
People on here warned them but they still didn’t believe it.
The company then stated - nearly four months ago, in April - what was going to happen i.e. that shareholders would be wiped out (“the proposed restructuring does not provide for any recovery for holders of Cineworld’s existing equity interests”). They still didn’t believe it.
People on here continued to warn them but… yes, you’ve guessed it.
Now the axe has fallen - they’ve lost all their money. The company is dead. Yet people like Dean36 and Takeapuntortwo STILL don’t believe it!
The delusion runs deep. “Candy from a baby” doesn’t begin to describe it.
Jed, I suspect Dean may be a bot.
“…never seen anything life it in my life.”
It happens all the time. People who don’t know what they are doing are attracted to plummeting shares - they view it as a get rich quick scheme. And they think that if they portray a company as a dead cert for recovery, others will buy in, forcing the SP up.
For others, they are just so determined to believe that they delude themselves.
Then there’s the Walter Mitties who still live with their parents, while portraying themselves online as hot shot investors who go balls deep with their investments (meaning £40). They always report how they’ve made a profit, whether the SP goes up or down. LSE is their social life. It’s sad. They often talk childishly and insult anyone who disagrees with them. It’s very common.
It’s interesting you say that as I was avoiding saying it as this wasn’t a con. But, yes, cons are founded on the mark being desperate to belive the story being spun.
This is why telling the mark it’s a con often doesn’t get the reaction you expect - on the contrary, expect anger and denial, and the mark continuing to go along with the con.
I imagine that a con man relishes the mark disclosing that he’s been told it’s a con, and them both having a laugh over how ridiculous that is.
I strongly advise people to take anything @poorinvester says with a bucketful of salt as he doesn’t know what he is talking about.
He has been a massive cheerleader for Cineworld (CINE) despite all the evidence ponting towards its demise… which has today finally happened, contrary to his predictions. Anyone following him is likely to have lost a lot of money.
Poorinvester has tried to extricate himself recently by claiming that, despite saying the share would go up and it doing the reverse, he still made a profit! Of course he did not reveal any evidence for this and it contradicted his posts.
He hasn’t got a clue. And he’s frequently abusive to anyone who disagrees with him.
Try it for yourself - look at his profile, though you’ll have to go back a few pages now.
Is @Dean36 a bot?
See my comment in this thread, which I posted because he made two identical comments on different threads: https://www.lse.co.uk/ShareChat.html?ShareTicker=CINE&share=Cineworld&thread=AFA1D898-4296-4F14-87CB-08E751D262A6
When you look at what he says, he doesn’t actually say anything.
Are you a bot, @Dean36? Or maybe you just talk like one.
I ask because you said exactly the same thing in another comment today: https://www.lse.co.uk/ShareChat.html?ShareTicker=CINE&share=Cineworld&thread=314739A8-C224-4C18-9D21-7EFC101E416F
Also, you joined LSE only 34 days ago yet have already written 223 posts, none of which actually say anything.
I Didn’t Say You Did.
I Said:
“Experience” - No.
“Simple as that really” - Yes, i Couldn’t Agree More.
(I Hope You Like The Lower Case I).
