Personally, I'd be more than happy with a close at (or slightly above) 2p today. I'd much prefer to see 5% gains daily towards 3p than larger, more volatile movements. Each to their own, I guess.

@PatShare - OK, understood. Yes, I have around that amount - only because I've averaged down over the past decade or so, regularly putting in a couple of grand here and there. My first shares were bought pre-17:1-consolidation for 1p (17p new money). Might top slice some at 3p or so to lock in some profit but will let most run. It will take some nerve to hold if it gets near to double figures though.

@carefreecarry - sure. My SIPPs are currently worth about £800k with about £80k in KEFI (roughly) so it would only take the share price to go to 5p or so and I may breach that £1m. Already taken £34k tax-free from an old DB pension so have around £230k left. As I said, a nice position to be in. Wish my split was more weighted towards ISA but there you go.......

@PatShare - maybe I have mis-understood, but if all of your KEFI shares are in an ISA, you won't pay any tax at all regardless of how big the gain is. Got a bit confused when you mentioned your gains being over £3k allowance. As I said - I have probably mis-read your post.

I have about £120k worth now (at today's market price) accumulated over 14 years, about 1/3 in ISAs and 2/3 in SIPPs. ISAs are obviously tax free and SIPPs I still have most of my £268k tax-free cash to take.....so I guess I only have to worry when the SIPP gains start to get near £250k. Not going to worry about that for now, though it'd be a nice problem to have if it happened this year.

@stephenx - I agree, 100%. Bonkers may have had some odd views, but some of his posts were factual. He got a lot of stick, consistently on here, and some of it was unwarranted. Some posters here are, for sure, obsessed with him. Despite being constantly castigated on here by the same old posters, he rarely threw terrible insults around like some on here.

@emcauslan - a very good post. I have been here for 14 years and have become very weary with the way KEFI management communicates. It's "launched" this and "expected" that, etc etc - and hard to sort the wheat from the chaff. The word is obfuscation. There is no doubt that things are looking good, even though there is still a small amount of finance work to finalise and sign. I am not selling anything - I expected the share price to go higher on this news but, to be honest, am not really surprised it didn't. Hopefully it will tick up over the next year or so.

You are correct - it is not fully signed. It is "effectively" fully signed. The only difference between yesterday and today is signing of $20m royalty. The rest is still outstanding.

@graff - Another bidder would have come in by now, I reckon. You are obviously on a loss here and desperately want >30p, but it most certainly looks like it's 30p. Just because some think Sidara are getting Wood "on the cheap" it doesn't mean that another bidder will enter the picture. I think we all have to accept it's 30p.....and that is probably a godsend given the amount of debt they have. Just my 2p.

As the article states, this must have been orchestrated because metal prices plummeted across the board by obscene amounts at exactly the same time. As you say - gold is already recovering.

I bought £15k of ANTO yesterday morning because that spiked 12% in a day then fell off a cliff at the same time as copper, so hopefully that'll get me a few beer tokens too.

....oh, I thought the recent spike to 1.7 was generally accepted by the forum that the placing shares were cleared. Average daily volumes and all that.

Nobody really knows who is selling and whether they are placing shares or not. Nobody can say that for sure, though many will draw the conclusion that if the share price is going down it must be placing shares.

As I mentioned earlier (now that I am back) that risks still remain here, and just because Harry says that equity finance is, effectively, done and to be signed off in February, it doesn't mean that it's the truth.

Placing shares or not, the share price has weakened over the past few days and the only thing that will boost it is total, unconditional finance signoff - with no caveats what-so-ever.

Let's hope February is the month.

@sharesy - all fair points which I largely agree with, which is why I am still here after such a long time. As I said, I read all posts and I even find the negative ones helpful, because it balances things out. I will try not to post much over the next two weeks - fingers crossed we get that finance. I've recently retired and I need that villa in Portugal.

Totally agree, @stephenx. Maybe (just maybe) this time everything will get sorted by the deadline and we reach the dizzy heights of 3p or more. Fingers crossed.

@sharesy - I am not writing anything to cause people to "bite".

I've been here for 14 years, and I have valid reasons not to trust Harry because I've heard the same stuff over and over again and we still haven't got signoff. Back in 2018 (or so, can't remember) he said "nothing can stop this getting signed in the next 2 weeks".....and that was 8 years ago. I am not bitter at all, but you'll excuse me for not believing everything that he says.

Tired, maybe - but I still hold significant numbers of shares and haven't sold any. I don't deny that the assets here are great, but people have made investments here over the years based on what Harry has said (in RNSs, too!) and probably lost a lot of money because he extends the truth a lot. My average is about 1.2p I think.

I genuinely have no agenda, having only rejoined this morning after a break of a few years because of abuse. Actually, I genuinely wish I hadn't. Some posters seem very irritable.

Genuinely hope finance is signed in 2 weeks, if not February.

@sharesy - no agenda at all. You think EVERYONE with minor concerns has 'an agenda'. I have been here for 14 years (happy to prove this to anyone) so more than entitled to my views. I just wish some on this board were more balanced. The abuse directed towards some here who raised genuine concerns is abhorrent. Please feel free to filter me (like intolerant @ElectricLion has). I am happy to hear good AND bad, so I don't filter anyone. Personally, I'd be delighted to see finance finally signed off in Feb after 14 years, but I am rather open-minded about whether this will happen or not.

I personally think this will bounce back up towards £40 in the next few days.....so I've just bought £15k worth. Fingers crossed.

@sharezy - I accept that what @bonkers posts may be contrary to what you want to hear, but some of his points are not just mis-information. Recently he was merely re-posting something from Telegram (about Mithrel, royalties etc) and the way people attacked him for just raising it was quite unpalatable. This is a valid concern, because any change to finance at this stage could, indeed, delay financing for months. It is quite clear that some here are so over-exposed that they just can't tolerate anything other than ultra-positive comments. I hope for everyone's sake that Harry can get this finance over the line in February.

So it is fine for SOME to criticize others, but when I raised the point I am "part of the problem".

I don't believe in filtering people because I like to read all opinions. It would just be better for everyone if there was less abuse.

I used to post on these forums up until a few years ago - the reason I stopped is because of intolerant, vile, abusive posters like @sharezy, who is emotionally child-like and so easily irritated that any post which has even the slightest negative tone is met with constant berating. I've had it directed towards myself too when raising genuine valid points back in 2018 (or so) - when financing was 'just around the corner'.

For the record, I have around £80k of KEFI shares, so I am a holder (since 2012) which I am happy to prove for anyone in doubt.

I read these boards daily, and most people have valid points, even if they are negative. For example - this latest finance was described as "one week to organise and one week to sign" by Harry back in November.....and here we are in February. This is FACT, yet if anyone mentions it they just get abused and the Mick taken out of them. Some people genuinely believe that a negative post on a random BB is going to affect the share price. It's just stupid.

Maybe I'll start posting here again to balance things out a bit. A little tolerance wouldn't go amiss. As others have pointed out to @sharezy, if you don't like a post why can't you simply ignore it? @bonkers is quite obviously living rent free in @sharezys head, so maybe it is impossibly for him to ignore, not sure. Anyone (holder or not) should be allowed to express their opinions without abuse.

Personally I don't like Harry - he has never met a deadline yet and constantly over-promises. Who knows if finance will get signed this month. Nobody is denying that the assets are amazing, but there are still risks, which people should be allowed to raise without insufferable posters abusing them.
