Don't really trust the Chinese regarding energy deals / promises. GCM are not very well funded to pursue this project. Shares might well hit 1p pre suspension & company folding. Seen some companies go under when cash is critical too often !!

Please ignore my pre post as they were not consolidated. It was another mining company - not EUA. So after they rose well, it turns out that I should have only sold 1/3 max of my holding. 9p sell price was too tempting though.

Originally bought in around .7p & 56k of shares from memory. Kept them for years. Believe the consolidation was 12 - 1 when covid was about, & pre consolidation they were around .5p & after that the upwards rise started & I sold far too early, but a reasonable profit is always worth banking. Have held again very recently, but not for long. Unsure whether to climb aboard yet !!!

Just spoken to a friend, & he say's the figure is more like 8 bn , so it takes many trades to lift the price a bit. Element of risk with this stock too.

Petrofac said the charges relate to former staff offering or making payments to agents in relation to projects awarded between 2012 and 2015 in Iraq, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates. 'All employees involved in the charges have left the business,' it added.
So I reckon this week there will be more recovery for this stock. Court hearing tomorrow too. Get's it done & dusted.

They are also mentioned on Tempus page mentioning the interim dividend of 2.64p & maybe a final of 3.96p equates to a potential yield of 5.4%. So still time to get registered pre 17th Sept. ex div.

Reckon you only have to be registered in time pre the confirmation news stating Cairn have been finally paid. This might arrive anytime soon-ish, therefore it's beneficial to buy on any dips in my view.

£361m to be returned to loyal shareholders & it works out to approx.. 72p a share. So a no brainer further investing in this stock assuming that debt is retrieved within 6 months say. £720 dividend for every 1k of shares & paid by bank transfer. 'Very Nice '

Me too at around 1.65p in early 2000's, but foolishly sold out around 6.5p pre the huge rise to 40p. Still in again but at just a shade below 20p. Reckon they will make 32 p today.
