I like Braveheart's prospects for a good return. Reckon that Bank's are a safe stock in uncertain times & in particular VMUK. Seems to have reached it's low. Maybe buy for recovery plus investment.

Referring to VMUK as broker upgrades look promising since they declared a dividend next year around Feb.

Never have liked the Mali Tribes. Believe they try & pilfer petrol by cutting pipe lines. Some are unfortunate enough to ignite themselves & die as a result. They sure take risks. Daft I say.

Would not be surprised if Friday's slight gains get well and truly wiped out as the market has another red day. There will be so much selling in general. So it's not time to invest just yet !!!!

I reckon the market has further to fall with PFC also being hit hard. Uncertainty at present re. travel & now the Omicron variant has visited Westminster before the spreader, maybe unknowingly, leaving England.

Driver Group does not look very popular today . Markets on the slide (big time) . Perhaps this stock will bounce back on results mid December, but don't hold your breath. Also the market might get again on Monday as a lot of uncertainty over this new South African virus at present.

Have seen much selling of the stock but why ? Maybe after the rise with today's news investors have taken advantage of the blip whilst stocks are a 'sea of red' today owing to uncertainty over Covid variant in South Africa & travel a problem with the country going red. Footsie 250 has dropped considerably today with airline related stocks looking a bargain. But with the weekend in front of another trading day, Monday may see a huge fall in markets too. I will still be holding Braveheart and hoping it's the correct decision. Plenty of investors starting to panic though !

Agree the dividend is extremely generous, & portrays a lot of confidence from the company. Has anyone worked out when the shares go ex div ?

This might have been before any offer from The Carlyle Group. Grim forecast though.

Just read in today's City A.M. ' No Time To Make Money' referring that James Bond movie might actually loose $100m.
They say promotional costs and Covid delays have really stung.

Results read well, so they must be doing something right. Rewarding shareholders yet. Appears not.

Legal & General are out of the top 20 holders having sold a 2nd stake just before Carlyle stated they had lost interest. Must have had some insider info. Always have to remain vigilant when large holders are still on board. But a Legal & General spokesperson told The Telegraph that this sell off was part of an ongoing wider reduction of a large basket of stocks across index funds. Legal & General apparently led an investor rebellion against founder Vernon Hill from being re-elected in 2019.

Peter Levine was stating the importance of hydrogen & ammonia being green energy and the way forward. He being a director of Atome & the proposal for it to be spun-out of President Energy. All about how to help the planet.

So I add that mid December onwards will be very interesting for existing shareholders of President Energy.

Not sure how Hoc managed to recover from being 60% down yesterday, owing to the threat of those 2 mines in Peru being closed. Can't see that buyers or punters will risk this share at present so be prepared for a further drop. May take a year or two, but doubt this share will recover to £1 - 60 + owing to uncertainty. Better mining stocks around at the moment to chance one's luck .

You might get lucky. Depends on the market stability now.

By today's rise I thought a takeover bid had been arrived. Although their trading update reads well compared to a year ago, I was surprised there was no mention of paying a dividend to shareholders in the future, so it might pull back - be warned.
