George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
The dividend is safe now so look forward to a generous 14.63p - ''Cah - Ching '' & also their latest news should make the sp tick up still.
Warnings that a sharp decline in interest rates will lead to a potential fall in UK bulk annuity volumes are overdone, suggests UBS, which expects Legal & General to be a major beneficiary of the continuing trend.
We expect a key constraint for the industry achieving similar or higher volumes than 2023 over the next 5 years (expectations of £250bn cumulative) will be the ability for insurers to source high-yielding assets.
“Overall, we expect bulk annuity volumes to continue to track at £50bn pa over the next 5 years, with L&G within our coverage likely to take the largest share of the market at c.25%.”
Perhaps their fund raise will take these a wee lower. I'm surprised it has fallen back so quickly after the improved reserves were announced. Maybe most large holders are trimming their investment here. Taking profit etc.
Legal & General Group PLC (LSE:LGEN) and M&G PLC (LSE:MNG) are rated as ‘buys’ amongst the UK’s life insurance market, as analysts at Deutsche Bank highlighted its expectations for growth.
I'm happy with 30p + . Just seen this in today's CITYA.M. on their graph best of the brokers.
''Energy firm Chariot completed the farm out of its offshore Lixus and Rissana licence areas to Energean this morning for $10m. It retains a 30% operated interest in Lixus and 37.5% interest in Rissana. It also confirmed a contract to use the Stena Forth drillship for an appraisal well at Anchois. Analysts at Peel Hunt have rated it a 'BUY' with a target price of 35p.''
This is just the start of a pleasing rerate. Maybe $200m helps.

Notice this seems to be on a downward spiral from it's 45p. Also notice Petrofac appears to be a major oil services company on the rise now. May be due to their news in March being liked by investors as follows. .............................

I remember pre this encouraging rise just seen the above quote on a message in late March - early April.
So does anyone particularly favour any of the above for the best advice on energy shares.
Any popular brokers to follow, that have been accurate in their forecasts etc ?
We need the best forecast for Pantheon, especially on the funding advice !!
Although still holding and hoping, I do feel that anyone who bought near the top yesterday @ 44p may be disappointed & a trifle concerned. The latest broker target price @ 80p is stated as a speculative buy.
Anyone have any accurate views and figures on how much cash needs raising to support their projects ?
It's obvious they will try soon as the share price is higher, and maybe a placing at 27.5p perhaps to tempt large private investors. Up would go the tvr and the sp would be falling back again. This company may return big money to it's shareholders, but it won't be for some years !
Remember the previous right's issue gave no time to qualify for the shares. Just as well ! The Royal Mail Post, hardly call it Royal, more like Lousy Mail Post, even using 1st class signed for. But thankfully I was done a favour as my form and cheque arrived too late. Lol.
Appreciate today's further rise, however owing to the amount of shares & all the last 6 months of investing won't last much longer as their consolidation after it had been £15 makes it most unusual to reach any price near £5. There might well be much selling of Rolls Royce soon. Big sells and big profits to large holders, hence 'Be Careful'
Maybe this could be why there seems to have been a lot of sudden selling. For it reached a nice price around 10.00 today.

Their results were very pleasing and now investors are wanting to ensure they qualify for the 4.37p dividend that is proposed, going ex div. on April 25th, hence the buying today and most likely all this week. Nice graph of recovery still due.
I'm concerned about whether they have risen too quick. Are any funds still needing to be raised ? Is this more a long term hold to make a good profit. As it was up 8.5% earlier there seems to be profit-taking going on.
There has been a strong rise in April, but viewing their 3 month graph, maybe larger investors are nervous and want to lock in some profit.
Just can't believe I missed out earlier on a golden opportunity at around 6p. Annoyingly it was also pay day and I definitely would have done another top up. Will there be another golden opportunity with Genedrive ? I doubt it, especially if they release more positive news in the next fortnight.
Could get to +80% at least on the day .
My advice comes along with some facts about this medical company and their prospects.
Most of the buyers are already holders, and so are topping up. Any price below 10p is a bargain as others have posted.
Futura Medical is another classic example of a company with big prospects now too, but Genedrive could well exceed Futura in wealth from yesterday's (all of a sudden & welcome GREAT NEWS. )
So as it was only 4.69m shares to add.
Following Admission the Company's issued share capital will consist of 143,141,481 Ordinary Shares of 1.5p
Should make for an interesting following week and a half onwards.
You did well, I also have some near that price, however also at 75p in Dec. 21. Ouch !
Bound to be some serious discussion having seen & realised the news overseas. These are likely to take off now with some large trades from America. They also would be buying very close to the bottom price. You only have to look at their graph.
Apologies re a slightly mixed up statement in £'s.
