There will be a lot of selling from investors that are not sure whether they would have been registered in time for the ex special dividend or the Tender. Anyone know the date Capricorn have announced to be eligible ?

You are on the right track MrBasse , but it's more likely to be 14p, however I've been wrong many times before. Lol.

The Tender Offer will be open to all eligible Capricorn shareholders. They might well state you have to have been registered as a shareholder by 13th Dec. when they changed their name from Cairn. Or it could be from start of this year to have been registered by. With 448m shares in issue any special dividend could be 60p - 70 p . A 5% lift on share price or tender offer bid would only be 11p. Of course the sp will fall after dividend is paid. But a prosperous company anyway, so most will hold onto their shares unless funds are needed. Large shareholders might be tempted though. I for one have been awaiting this good news for nearly 2 years !

Profit-taking, but no investor could have forecast what was to come. Otherwise they would have sold this stock at 30p +. Will bounce back eventually, but some investors want some cash back. Maybe for another share that they reckon won't drop much lower than it's current bargain price. So this could be under 20p before long.

Just a hunch that it might be ATM or Afritin Mining.

Pre any further news from the company. May I ask what price are you hoping to buy in at ?

With the dividend it sure is. Expect some more large buys to go through today near close. Talking of multi-baggers - Eurasia Mining might also be worth a punt.

Having looked on the map of Russia I've established the extreme North West on a peninsula is Eurasia's mining area - The Urals Mountains.
So as they stated the other day that their operations were continuing, I believe them, and so does anyone agree with me this is a very strong buying opportunity right now ! ?

All large investors £10,000 upwards would very much consider selling at least half their Synairgen investment in these choppy market times, so it's bound to pull back.
So how rich is this company at present & might they announce a cash call soon ?
That is also a big concern, so bank the profits if lucky enough to be in at 16p or lower this week. It's called 'easy money!'

(I hope) on their distribution of the excellent $1.06bn rightly paid to the company from India. A long awaited payment & shareholders to receive a special dividend provided they have been invested long enough. The ex dividend date being decided by their board.
Could be as much as £368m (equates to $500m & with less than 1/2 bn shares in issue 74p.
There may also be a share re-purchase programme. But we waited and see with excitement.

All shares have taken a beating today unless there has been some news about them that's positive. Issue here is they still have that impending fine hanging over them in the states.

Both Evraz & Polymetal might get suspended, & I notice profit-taking has started already with Evraz. - Deutsche don't reckon on Polymetal being traded much more. !

The rise has happened and anyone who was in at 17p or less yesterday will no doubt sell. In spite of their news posted, is this company making any money soon. I can't see that it is. So this stock might turn into a 'Pump & Dump.'

Guess it's dependent on cash availability to support a project like this. Fear the ozone layer can't be polluted ( it won't be allowed) much further. All countries are becoming more concerned about Global Warming & filthy air. Even China is starting to close some coal plants. So this is risky to invest in right now. Nice to see it the top riser today 1st off.

Hoping there is a bullish presentation today too. Choppy market conditions for this to rise further. We shall see. The broker's target price was about 3 months ago from memory though. I have also been mulling over buying into Oriole Resources. North West Africa - a safer be than Russian stocks like Evraz for now. Gold is meant to be a safe haven at the moment. Saw today's further rise & wish I had sold out then. Just returned from the shops to see profit-taking ( just as I was considering to) had beaten me, i.e. I was not quick enough at the shops. Oh well ! Might as well hold on & monitor closely for the day.

Good headline in yesterday's City AM ' THG hits back at supplier pricing dispute reports.' So THG had been accused of discounting it's beauty products amongst a few other products. Plus THG stated the reports of any dispute with Unilever owned Dermalogica was ''media speculation.'' Their trading relationship being over 10 years.
Since the flotation price around £7 -20 THG has already had a disatrous slide. I say maybe it has dropped too much. Very tempted at this price.

So 'Vile Prick' knocking down mining companies & EVRAZ being badly affected too. They will recover eventually, so maybe invest in both ( top up ) this quarter, whilst the bargain prices are available.
