Surprised they lost the earlier gain, however, the market is down in general & after all it's Friday when profit taking is on short term investor's minds' !

Canadian's Pure Gold Mining seems to be on a good recovery plan with prospects by 3rd quarter 2022. Good news today posted as follows., & they have risen 20% on this news.

· US$6 million additional liquidity and waiver from Sprott Resource Lending

· Operational turnaround underway; positive site-level cash flow expected by Q3 2022

· 60,000 metres of definition drilling underpins active six-month mine plan

· Mark O'Dea assumes the role of Interim President & CEO

· On track to publish updated Life of Mine plan in Q4 2022

Only have to read their news on doing a financing deal. It's no wonder they have risen 18% today. Buy for recovery here.

Exciting times ahead by October this year. Only have to read the news on their deal. So any spare cash should be invested here, besides bottom fishing Solgold. PUR does seem very attractive.

They sound positive re this year & have cash of £ 1/2bn +.

Gold exploration company Seribi has posted first-quarter gold output results that are in line with Peel Hunt estimates. However, guidance for 2022 at the Julia mine was reduced. '' In the short term the market will have to adjust to the reduced guidance, but we believe the longer-term potential continues to look strong,'' Peel Hunt analysts said. Analysts rated the stock with a 130p target price.

Price they raised money then was at $C.53 wich equates to 32p . Wonder what any future funds announced soon would be raised at ? Any guesses it's above 15p ?

So as I sold out too early at 32p at least you hung on a bit longer. Not sure myself on whether the share will hold price tomorrow, however, as previously mentioned ( & slated) , their are some very interesting gold stocks out there ripe for recovery. So you might be correct about further selling of Solgold.

Their peak in last 2 years was £1 - 75 & within last year £1 -02. So a top up needed now for those investors besides me is needed today & any price below 15p a bonus. Bring on the imminent news from Canada.

Me for one, as I reckon Solgold has had it's rise. Just have to view the 2 month graph.

The way this is picking up she will be up 5% & above today. So not as high a rise as Pure Gold Mining, but greatly appreciated.

Well spotted & these trades still show on London Stock Exchange with a time stamp around 11.00, the buy price somewhat higher that was paid too.

Looking to be a sell on news. Although yesterday's rise could be another reason to bank profits.

So a placing at 6p last July gave investors a chance to maybe have bought below that price viewing their graph. So I only assume that's the reason for the big sales going through whilst heavy buying too. I would expect they are 13.5p to buy at some stage today. Come on Empyrean !

I'll take 35p as a slice of my buys was at 14.8p. Bet it won't reach there this year though.

I saw that, but I reckon there will be repercussions. When they buy the shares back & then consolidate afterwards down to 324.5m shares total voting rights; they have robbed us of our shareholding & effectively only paid 22p per share more for those tendered. So only overspent on buying them by the tune of $49.3m. From $500m leaves £344.045m, So awaiting a decent dividend you board of thieves. Can't just steal shares & give out 22p extra a share in a tender. So that's why. Believe me - I reckon we all know what was promised. eh !

Have done a lot of maths & £ to $ rates taken into account. So briefly the difference between tender price & £2 - 04 is what they have paid out to shareholders. Equates to $49.3m & so they owe us $450.7m in a special dividend as they have consolidated the shares from 495.6m down to 324.5m shares. The reduction equates to a dividend of £116 - 20 BUT there is only £1 -06 per share remaining from the $500m they promised. So the share price will have to rise up from it's £2-04 present day to have not lost out. At present it seems that shares tendered are the winners, or any sales at £2 -20 are also winners. They had better pay us holders a £1 + dividend to be able to keep the peace & avoid bad press, after all it has been promised to shareholders who have been patient. The Senegal dividend robbed shareholders with the consolidation they made at that time. We await their honesty.

Good news for a lot of banks is this re rating of Standard Chartered. Tempted to have an investment with them besides Barclays & Virgin Money. Any thoughts from the Barclays clan?
