I don't think the OP's post underestimates either of those 2 things at all.

Even if you think more free shares would not incentivise Keith to accept a lower price, I still don't see on what basis the free handout could possibly be justified.

It's also a slippery slope, because if he demands this many free shares for so little (100% increase in SP), imagine how much he will ask for if the company actually goes somewhere.

If you actually think Keith's interests are currently not aligned with shareholders, and they will only be aligned if he gets more free shares, then I'm sorry to say but I have an answer for you and it isn't more free shares.

No one is saying 60c is a price target.

At 60c all 3 tranches of performance rights are released to the directors even if none of the milestones are accomplished. That is what we are objecting to.

To be fair, VUL share price hasn't performed very well in the past year either, which is likely at least partially due to the market being somewhat cool on lithium stocks at the moment. But if that changes, VUL, EMH and many other lithium stocks can re-rate again with no work from management.

I am strongly opposed to any performance rights being awarded for the share price reaching 60c. There are too many ways that could happen with little to no effort from management. As I've said before if they had to acheive something tangible and also reach a share price at the same time then I could accept that.

Skelly, as far as I know, there is nothing in any Geomet shareholder agreement that prevents third parties from starting a bidding war to buyout EMH. I do not need to provide proof of a non-existent document. You're the one who claims this is impossible, so YOU need to provide evidence.

Skelly is also wrong that there can't be a bidding war. Even if CEZ has first dibs, that doesn't necessarily stop someone else for making a bid and CEZ matching it. If there is any wording that implies otherwise please link the document and quote the wording.

It is not simply take the latest market price of a stock with low liquidity, tack on 25% and call it a day. That is almost certainly not what would happen.

I have been in similar stocks to EMH which went down ~75% or up ~300% in less than a year. I am unsure what makes some here so confident EMH will not experience any significant volatility this year.

It's true EMH with its low cash balance and lack of revenue is in a position of weakness, but a hypothetical bidding war could carry a buyout price to much higher than VWAP.

As far as the comment "the market is not often wrong", even to the extent that's true, stocks are priced on risk adjusted returns. EMH is high-risk, high-reward. But do keep in mind that the same market that thinks EMH will fail, also thinks lithium will be worth >26k in the future. And it's unlikely that both predictions will turn out to be right.

@CiaranC Management should be doing all those things because that's what shareholders have been paying them to do for the past 10+ years. We are still waiting for results, or at least proof of work.
