The DFS does not explicity say what the survival price is, but it would likely be around 10% below the NPV8% breakeven price.
The DFS is also not clear whether byproducts will be harvested and to what extent. You can bet if tungsten prices stay inflated, they will try to take advantage, but even assuming tungsten prices come back down, there are several other byproducts to take advantage of. It might not sound like much, but if you're talking survivability then then byproducts absolutely matter.
There is no guarantee lithium price will be viable nor that the EU will come through on their guarantees, however I like the odds of EMH a lot better now then when the lithium price appeared to be in a death spiral in 2025. Not only because of the increased price of lithium, but also because there will likely be a renewed push towards alternative energy sources. Although a lot depends on further geopolitical developments in the EU, US and the middle east.
