I also think the so-called breakeven oil price for SL phase 1, which in deity ready includes a very hefty return to equity and so is more of a project go price, will turn out to be well now $40 come the time. FIG's tax/royalty terms should play a big part in that.

Yes, the politics have never, ever, been better.
And there are other aspects which were only flagged, so far as I know, by Gozziesky just before he got banned which also help persuade me of that. Odd episode, very odd episode.

The project provides loss of jobs in the UK. That's where the largest part of the capital spend will go and projects where that happens are, actually, what UKEF is there to do!
UKEF isn't some financial anomaly as the bears might have you believe. It's there for an incredibly good purpose that other countries in fact do a helluva lot more of than the UK does.
The politics have never, ever, been more favourable for this project and UKEF participation.
And my own bet is that by autumn there's a good chance the project 'go' price of oil for Sea Lion (phase 1) will come down from $40 or so.

May have noticed there are some reeaally strange forever-ever bearish profiles active on here.
The Gozziesky case had masses of hugely suspicious background, loads still to be said on that. Was banned. Had to be.
Various echoes still on here.
They go nuts when there's good news. And there's unquestionably quite a bit right now.
Hence their activity this evening, always been blind to the share price.
Assessing value is not their job
Real question is whether their job ...

Since their colleague Gozziesky actually did get banned they've understandably been jumpy on the banning thing.
There are things still unsaid about the Gozziesky episode. Will stay that way for a while I guess. Serious stuff, very serious stuff.
But make mistake, old Fatstone, getpoo, Uphimselfsky, Surplus, profiles - they're basically on the same gig as Gozziesky.
