Sure, VRFBs need to become more price competitive, but the safety element cannot be underestimated. As we know, lithium-ion batteries carry an element of fire hazard risk. For domestic usage that may be deemed acceptable, but when scaled up to grid storage?? You're literally playing with fire. You get what you pay for.

Relieved to hear Pdub has had some positive news.

On VRFBs, I too have my concerns about whether this technology will be cost-efficient and therefore scalable. I guess we need to wait for BE to confirm more details of its leasing model.

Seeing as Rongke Power is currently building the world's largest vanadium flow battery, I'll take that as clear and present evidence of a route to market.

There's so much to be positive about, but too much ramping of numbers means weak sellers panic when over-exaggerated expectations are not met.

Instead of basing production and income estimates on maximum capacity, a more measured approach should be taken. We sometimes forget that, whilst trying to exploit this explosive commodity to the fullest, BMN is still a maturing company in a relatively early growth phase.

Despite that, based on earnings, BMN is still ludicrously undervalued compared to its AIM peers. From a lower base, expectations can be met.

Moving forward, posters should:

A) Be more realistic in their analysis
B) Filter trolls and not respond
C) Ignore LTHs like Daisan who are bullish long-term but deliberately exaggerate negatives so they can sell into dips and exploit holders

Eyes are adapted to the various requirements of their owners. Some moles use their eyes so infrequently they have acquired flaps of skin growing over them. Some cave-dwelling amphibians don't even have eyes - no need for them. Chartist may be the exception.

I would therefore conclude that eye formation is simply part of an evolutionary process, like everything else.

Nice one RichKen. Obviously, BE is the key that unlocks the door to potential riches beyond our dreams. However, the first hurdle is Eskom and I'm troubled by its financial poverty and how that may affect its ability to house BE's plans even if it was to be awarded a substantial part of the tender.

In the meantime, valuations of £1-2 y/end rests on that tender IMO. Without it, I'm not sure where we'll be. BE may not be factored in to BMN's SP by IIs, but it is by PIs.

Question is, does BE have all its eggs in the Eskom basket and what's plan B if that goes tits up? Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself, but I'd rather be a realist than an optimist. Perhaps this is where BBN comes in and rationalises my fears.

RichKen, whilst I enjoy your posts and am particularly bullish about BMN myself, I can't see how you can legitimately predict a £20 share price in x number of years. IMO, that sort of ramping is equally as ludicrous as Chatshit's technical analysis.

However, I hope I'm wrong and you're right.

When there's no news for a while I tend to think my investment is working for me, when there's no news for ages I tend to think something's gone wrong. But BMN has never been heavy on news flow, and it would be ridiculous to claim this has been an impediment to the SP.

Operational updates are also inescapable and "imminent".

My daytime activity is non-finance related. You're more than welcome to use technical analysis, but I don't believe for a minute you're making a living out of it. As you admit, the hedge funds etc. invest millions on computer systems that create algorithms to make decisions which give them a microscopic edge.

Why the hell bother if an amateur day trader, if that's what you are, you could beat them to it? Admit it, you're walking in their footsteps, guessing their intention - playing to their tune. You're the people they make money from - and I'm not suggesting you're an idiot, but there's plenty of idiots to plunder.

That's precisely why your TA is meaningless garbage that I have no interest in reading - just scroll right past it. I know for a FACT that you have nothing insightful to impart, whether it be technical analysis or, evidently, the fundamentals of BMN.
