bottom line is the Market Maker sets the price and there is no transparency as to the rational

Obviously this is just an opinion, others may well disagree,
I certainly wouldn't say stupid no. Fundamentals have their place, and like I say, I do believe they win out in the end, but because the market is such a closed environment it most certainly can and I believe is manipulated. In fact, by definition it is manipulated when it is controlled by market makers, who's actual job is to "make a market" i.e entice buyers AND sellers to make liquidity. How do they do that? by setting a price that they think will have an effect, mainly by social engineering, i.e frighten or excite buyers, er cynically go after stop losses (I have no factual evidence of this but anecdotally believe it does happen) So as investors, good due diligence is a must, but also I think, an awareness of sentiment.

I would love to get in a room with Market Makers, brokers and Big Investment firms and debate the subject. It is fascinating, but also often frustrating for us investors.

That's a really interesting question and I think the answer is that no one really knows!
There is market theory, which would state that market forces drive the price, more buying pressure and price rises, more selling pressure and price drops, and whilst I believe there is a fundamental aspect of this, it is only part of the story. Much more is, I believe, hidden to us investors.
Take you assertion that there are more buys than sells. really? How do you know? The Market does not publish what the transaction is, all we see is the results of algorithms that colour a transaction based on whether the deal price is higher or lower than the Mid. Plus they can hold back large orders and not publish them immediately, yet price action could be driven by such an order, plus we have no idea what orders are on the Books and not published. That's just a start.

Stock market is the wild west and anyone that thinks it is not manipulated by those with access to it, and the "big" money are mistaken.

That said, a sound company will usually come good in time (or when someone decides it is time) and I think I3 is in that category (now!)

But why Aren't the Avacta team already doing this!!! Why are they not making sure that affidx is getting known, I don't get it.

think the interview was restricted, ie, only agree to do the interview if only AVA6000 discussed. I cannot see any other reason why an interviewer would not ask about LFT progress. Why are they not talking about Affidx and volumes etc #frustrating

it's called brand building. Any manufacturer worth their salt promotes the product before it is available to build up awareness and excitement. Surely the most accurate LFT test in the world is worth building up?

It's incredible that a company that has just started selling a world leading product does not seem to want to shout about either the product or the sales volumes!!

Misleading nonsense. We were told that it would be marketed as soon as approved.
And it was, through a distribution deal where we know that sales are underway. 1st batch sold out. (all be it we don't know the volumes) Be frustrated at the apparent slow progress by all means , but get the facts straight.

If I'm not mistaken they had to do full production runs for the CE marking. Maybe these are just those early batches being moved?

Does anyone have any thoughts on when the company might finally announce some sales? Are there some triggers that we might be waiting that anyone can think of? I have no doubt affidx will sell but it is mighty frustrating watching the SP drop on lack of sales news.

it sounds like a totally bizzare testing regime at PD. Surely you test a product in the way that it is designed to be used. If EUAFA commissed a new match ball from Adidas, would they test it by knocking it around the field with a baseball bat or cricket bat and say, well they are all ball games so they should be the same!!.

nit picking, but if it were my add, i would have mentioned what variants it was validated against and the fact that it is continually monitored against new ones.
