I'd have to agree. Why are they not working to build the brand to the consumer audience and to raise awareness of the value of LFTs, affidx quality in particular. I honestly do not get the complete silence. This kind of product marketing can still be done even if we do not yet have HUA . Start to build awareness, it also wouldn't harm the professional sales.

as far as we know, according to AS in the last presentation, they have completed everything required and submitted , they are now waiting on the approval authority.
So not waiting on Medusa19 as far as we know.

It isn't the billion pound contracts investors wanted but frankly £1mil per month early days, with what seems like just word of mouth marketing them and only as Professional use, is not to be sneezed at from a company that 2 months ago had no regular revenue stream. And it will only go up from here, hopefully exponentially once HUA signed off.

agreed. Personally don't think he meant to deceive, I just think he was a bit Naïve about how sales works . Punters saying "OOh that looks good, I'll be back when you have a CE mark." are not sales!

Even if he wont release actual sales figures, as a business that is now selling product he surely MUST tell shareholders what the projections are for sale for the next 6 -12 months,?.......

The silence on LFT volumes (sales and production) is unbelievable.
And I cant believe AS signed up to an NDA not allowing him to talk about the progress to HUA. That was stupid IMO. If that was Medusa's demand, he should have walked away and done HUA himself.

I expect no significant news re LFTs tomorrow and I expect the SP to take a hit as a result.

I think its shameful the way AS talked up deals post CE mark and subsequently nothing, zero, nada . Don't get me wrong, the tests will sell over time and will generate good returns over time but it is clear (for me) that there are no big deals in the pipeline and probably never were. On the positive side I think the current SP is fair value, and any drop post the presentation tomorrow will recover to these levels.

On the other hand I may be wrong and will not be disappointed if I am!!

Market wants LFT sales, HUA and increased manufacturing and for some reason that just isn't happening yet.

Are Medusa dragging their feet on Affidx progress in order to prioritise their own test which will make them more money, hiding behind a foolish home use exclusivity deal and NDA? I sure hope not......

Are Avacta team just not good enough to get their foot in the door to make a deal?

Even if I were not invested. this situation of continually buying cheap chinese tests (whilst trying to hide behind buying from non Chinese distributors) instead of buying UK developed and manufactured tests with the best accuracy is just wrong.

But if the government were supporting the uk diagnostics industry properly, then UK tests would already have emergency approvals months ago, if not full approvals, all the production kit would be in place and the production lines running at full tilt.
