Sorry for repeating myself. I saw that finnCap updated their forecast for Synairgen - anyone got more detail?

Surfie1961 granted I got this a bit wrong. But what I said still applies... if as most of us on here expect there is a sales update this week, the short term day to day movements (in this case down, down, down) are irrelevant unless you're just trading this share.

I'd imagine we'll see a small fall today but it really doesn't matter now. With the sales update due soon that and that alone will dictate the share price.

Awaiting the next sales update with great anticipation. It feels to me like the first time sale increases haven't been priced in already and so good news could really be impactful share price wise.

Anders, hopefully you're already convinced by now that it's HIGHLY unlikely the 40000 kits are in fact tests and are rest assured that the deal is as big as everyone else thinks. As of two weeks ago Egypt had carried out 105000 PCR tests, with that number then increasing rapidly and Egypt pleading for access to more tests. It would seem mad in that situation for Egypt to order in just 40000 tests with the support of the World Health Organisation.

It's without doubt 3.96 million.

The fact we agreed a huge deal with Egypt of 40000 kits, equal to 3.96 million tests, and did not get an rns brought me a lot of comfort and led me to buy back in last week. If orders of this magnitude are not deemed newsworthy enough for an rns then there is absolutely no reason to worry IMO. It means these sorts of deals (maybe not quite as large) are ongoing and Graham has decided to save it all up for the monthly sales update.

It's not hard to understand. Prior to this crisis The Gym Group was in a great financial position with a share price of £3 and likely to grow well beyond that. It's hardly held up as strong as you're saying, it's currently well over 50% lower. Looking at the fundamentals and the strength in comparison to the other big gym chain in the UK (debt riddled Pure Gym) I expect it to be back where it was in 12-18 months.

That's a 100% return... not bad eh?

What's with this obsession with always sharing the negatives alongside the positives Nolupus? itshenderz is laying out his case for investing in Synairgen, should he add a caveat to every line warning of the risks too? There is a significant difference between his post and ones along the lines of 'this is about to boom, see you at a £1!!!'

Back to SNG this little rise is promising. Good to see we shouldn't drift any lower than the 50s even without an engineered spike.

There is not one inch of me that thinks Bill Gates has any malicious intent behind his push for a global vaccination programme - not one inch. I am not fully on board with what the media/government tell me because I know behind the scenes conversations go on. They want to achieve x and to do that they need to set the narrative y. It's not easy and the dishonesty is sometimes much more visible than other times. I think different politicians have different aims and agendas but I don't think any are evil in the conventional sense. I don't think they are true sadists...

That's just not true. Firstly a number of factors led to them deciding not to impose a full lockdown. One which has been discussed at length is Sweden's respect for their government and willingness to follow rules even if not mandated. Secondly it's a sparsely populated country which makes the threat of outbreaks much less severe.

Even so Sweden has imposed a number of restrictions and they are seeing a huge decline in economic activity and will take a big hit - not as big as in the US and other parts of Europe but still sizeable. To add to that they have by far the largest number of deaths in Scandinavia...

I don't look on with admiration, personally.

Each day this trickles down and we get that bit closer to results/news. I'm in a bit too deep already but if others here are right that we're due a good number of rns' pre readout then it makes sense to buy a few extra at 53 and derisk once this settles up higher. Why shouldn't we profit somewhat off rises rather than a bloody hedge fund/IIs?!

I am certain we needed the lockdown, the cases were spiralling out of control and even with the lockdown it took about six weeks to get it under control somewhat. Sweden themselves would have locked down if their caseload had also got out of control like us.

No company increases its share price week in week out. Not Facebook, not apple, not amazon. Just because you clearly got excited or greedy and threw your live savings at this somewhere in the 400s is your fault, not Graham's.

There has been some rubbish on this forum over the past month but this wins hands down.

Here here! It's very easy to form an argument for why the lockdown should be eased and why a second wave would most likely be more manageable whilst sat at home in my pants.

The buys and sells get mixed up to such a degree that that sort of data becomes virtually meaningless.
