I pay more attention to £££s rather than number of shares and tend to stick to clean numbers - £1k, £2.5k, £5k or £10k.

The news of the US buying up the entire global remesdivir stock has probably played a part here. Suddenly the attention turns to a company with an mcap of £65m who might take an almighty chunk of this market? Big companies must be seeing the $$$.

I've never been invested in an event driven biotech like this. I have a question for those who have seen this play out before: what happens if (hypothetically speaking) very good news lands tomorrow at 07.00? Does the sp rerate to >£1 on open or does it open 20% up before everyone piles in and sends it >£1?

I only ask this as I'm interested to know if investors are likely just being risk averse and are ready to pounce providing the results are positive?

Noodle - no but every month there is a sales update and it always lands the last day of the month give or take a day or two.

Have you all written off COPD news before covid hospital trial results now? Nolupus said only yesterday that he/she were expecting news in June still (ie today). We all seem to think they have the results now so are they really going to hold on to them for all of July?

Rich I don't think Nolupus is saying that. There are definitely rookie PIs that get spooked and sell because of comments made on bb boards like this. But do they fundamentally affect the share price?

Yeah I agree Ghia. I apologise for all these comments. I knew when investing here that I didn't deeply understand my investment and I was swayed by the knowledge of bb members and helped by the way they were able to break things down for me.

That's my problem and mine alone. I don't expect the mood on here to be driven entirely by the sp but to write it off completely and some of the delays, is in my view, careless and shortsighted.

Thank you Seb. I'm not deramping, I'm just noticing that there seems to be nothing that can dent the belief of some posters on here. That is evident by the refusal by some (mainly ShareSting) to acknowledge that there is at least some reason to be getting a bit nervy. The idea that results might show a lack of efficacy for SNG001 is beyond some people's imagine it seems. In those people's minds it's nailed on.

I think that's my point Simmo. Having been on this board for months now I've lost count of the number of times that something like you just said has been said. Something could give such as a new II getting on board and then everyone chasing after it but I really don't see it just ticking up slowly.
