Are you trying to say the target is £1.20 before COPD and covid results? It seemed ShareSting was also suggesting this...

If so, why the hell is the share price so low? WE must all agree that the forecast is silly or there's been a leak if you are suggesting £1.20 before any results.

If this keeps rising then all of us patient holders deserve a pat on the back.

It's not been easy watching the share price fall as other stocks rise, but with the wider macro environment being as bleak as it is, it had to give at some point. Hopefully that time is now.

Probably just the realisation of what a massive part novacyt has to play in this global pandemic.

Let's be honest investors are not queuing up to take a punt on us. Results will land any day now and yet there isn't enough buying pressure to see a significant move north.

It would be remiss of us to assume that french investors are that clueless about share valuation.

John I think that's the number one factor that is not yet priced in.

The market is viewing this as a one-off binge of a few hundred million before returning to a little diagnostics company that turns over 20 or so million a year. It's ignoring that this pandemic changes everything, 'pandemic preparedness' is going to be a term on everybody's lips.

I'm pretty confident novacyt is going to be a major player going forward.

Now there is a disconnect between here and France. If France holds we should be blue soon...

We're now 5-7 trading days from the June update. Novacyt built the distribution networks and scaled up the capacity in line with the growth of the pandemic. We're now seeing record global cases whilst we bring new products to the market and have the ability to sell 10 million tests.

I would be VERY surprised if there isn't some FOMO as we get closer and closer to those sales figures.

Compare the share price in France with the share price here, not the daily percentage change. Take yesterday, we shot up after close and France didn't so that's where the discrepancy lies.

Please read my post properly shan before jumping to a reactionary reply. I was talking to Ghia and others who were expecting/predicting results to land this week - I was not suggesting that results were officially late.

I understand that Ghia. The thing is many of us seemed to think results for the COPD trial would be this week and because the reversal happened so close to this that there might be enough forward momentum to keep driving on up to 60p. I was only a tad surprised that the share price began to falter yesterday but am more surprised that we are currently red.

So my question was more, are we perhaps a week off on our prediction for results?

Any of the regular posters surprised at what a struggle it's proving to move through the gears? Any thoughts on this?

You start by saying: 'This has had its day. Can't see it rising back to its highs anytime soon. Covid stocks are going out of favour'.
Followed by: ' A false dawn and a second wave is very possible... hold on to your shares - may make a good profit in the near future'

Talk about incoherence.

This is still playing out like I expected it might and that gives me some hope.

Whilst attention turns elsewhere, sentiment drains from here and the sp saunters lower and lower. Behind the scenes big contracts are being signed and cash piles up. Then bang , sales update. Just imagine if it shows some new national contracts and sales now close to £200m?

This is something to bear in mind. Once flu season comes around, however well prepared we are for it i.e larger numbers given the flu vaccine, it will be essential to know quickly when you start feeling rough whether it's covid or influenza.

How come we went back up to 239 at end of business? Big buy just before the close?
