Please WelshTopTrader, I'm afraid that in the grand scheme of things what's happening in your little part of the world will have no effect on novacyt. There is a demand for billions of tests globally and ncyt has the gold standard test and the distributors to supply a good percentage of that demand.

Yeah sorry that was aimed less at you and more at some of the posters on here yesterday with comments such as 'wow 1 in 8 patients saved, if that's all that's needed to show efficacy then we should be fine'. It just felt a bit glib and insensitive.

When the share price reached 491p it was clearly running ahead of itself and based on potential rather than sales. We are better placed than ever to DELIVER on that potential! It seems impossible to fully start up economies without cases rising again and the only weapon governments have is testing and in better place countries test and trace.

This could still reach new highs in a few months time, I'm sure of it.

On the 7th April we were starting week three of an initial three week lockdown. That three week lockdown got extended and extended again right up to today, the unofficial end of lockdown.

To think we've got to six months into the pandemic and at full production before most other competitors have made it to market. There is a chance we are currently signing six month deals which will guarantee sales up to the end of the year.
