At £179m mcap right now, what way do you think this is most likely to go? The headlines today focus on preparing from now the second wave in a few months time, the gov. has committed to £5b to build up the UK's diagnostics sector, it's been announced that we have a major US partnership signed, there has been evidence that we're working on a saliva test and we are heavily involved in the winter multiplex.

It's not come yet but we are one bit of great news (don't go telling me the interim results contained anything we didn't already know) away from this rerating.

So far I've seen at least 10 new threads started with exactly this title. It's been discussed for 24 hours now, just spend 5 minutes flicking through the comments on this board.

Shaking out all those unhappy with the price action yesterday I would imagine. My guess is we've hit the bottom for now so have topped up.

It's a shame how this has played out and it's understandable that frustrations are leading to people selling out... but really this is a genuine top up opportunity.

robort I'll probably help you out here and argue that what you're trying to articulate is that now it's all or nothing.

As it happens there are three results we are waiting on so I would argue it's not quite the case, even if the outcome of one does make another more likely...

It's true John_James but also potentially a little misleading. From what I understand not every immune system fights off this virus with antibodies, some fight it off with their T cells. What is becoming clear though is that antibody testing will not have the impact that we all hoped for a few months ago.

Ghia, I have absolutely no experience of a readout and how it affects the sp on opening. I assumed there would be a gap up, but not say 33p pre close to 65p at open, so was wondering if many were sticking a relatively small amount on pre-results with more cash available to jump in if they were lucky enough to get the chance?

It would be great if it was the latter though...

I'm feeling the reason why there is no buying appetite is that it will be possible to wait for results and then still jump in and make a half decent profit, eliminating the risk.

However I still see this as a great buying or top up opportunity for those that were clever and disciplined enough not to overexpose themselves.

The way I look at it does it feel like these interim results overplayed the company's fortunes or underplayed? I think there was a concerted effort to highlight that the future looks very rosy but graham decided not to include deals in the pipeline or go into any detail on other fronts. In my opinion he's saving that for future announcements...

I don't agree. With the time-limited nature of these covid testing kits the sales did need to be just that little bit higher to warrant a significant rise. I'm not making excuses as I was hoping this would be the month where sales were just too big to ignore (£40m+) and was a smidgen disappointed however they've only recently scaled up production to this level and it may take that little bit longer to make the breakthrough.

The confidence of making more in the second half of the year than the first, the expectation to be selling well into 2021 with contracts extended already, more to be revealed about the US partnership, mobile testing to be announced... this is enough for me to stick with the company at this price.

I say that to my johnson every day.
