Hi All - Just posted on Twitter see below lets hope common sense finally prevails & approval is give soon for the outstanding funding which has been going on for years while H&W have been building the business for the FSS contract starting next year.It is not a bail out but monies planned years ago.

Todays postings re IM that there will be an appeal to the Supreme Court is likely the answer as to why the marine license is still shown as being issued & why I have not received an answer to DAERA last week as to why it is still being shown.

There is still hope & it is ironic that a member of the executive is defending the decision made by his predecessor.Still all to play for.

Hi All - Just saying that at least following the recent RNS the SP has steadied & not continued to decline all we can do now is wait for hopefully a deal or are they just moving the deckchairs on the Titanic.

Hi Folks All to play for - a new progressive Government wanting ‘Change’ will hopefully give us what we want. Aberystwyth - I so agree with your comments it is time to be realistic any alternative to your suggestion would be a disaster.

I have just read the Edison report & likely the reason for yesterdays drop & todays drop in SP I bought back in yesterday & it now hurts so back to waiting now on a longer term.Deals are not easy to achieve so likely a fund raise.My reading of the situation is that we need more data which is not yet available.

Following my many e-mails with yourselves going back to the days of the funding from the EEC & now following the recent decision by the Court of Appeal I note that the Marine License, as detailed below, is still shown on your register.

Could you please explain what the current situation is in that there is still a valid Marine License which now needs approval by the Executive in Northern Ireland or has it been ended.

Hi All - I have been following the board for the last few days & concluded that none of us really know what will be happening next.

My hope is that we will get signed accounts next week with an audit report no worse than the last two years.

As I have said before we seem to be in the hands of the Gods likely Labour Gods.

I have to say that the calling of the General Election may have spooked civil servants & their ministers.I know when I was involved in project managing the final accounts of NHS PASA for their final year ended 31st March & after slowing closing down all divisions before then.I had achieved final close off with the NAO by 1st April but because Gordon Brown had just called a General Election & although I then sent the accounts out to the Directors of NHS PASA, NAO & Dept. of Health for signature the matter was then frozen until after the General Election I guess similar restraints apply today.

I am a long term investor in Harland & Wolff but not in the big league of investors however I am reliant on all coming good which I still believe can be achieved by John Wood & Arun.

Fingers crossed seems a bit lame but at the moment that is all we can do.

Hi Garonne - I have also been through the both RNS's & there are many positives particularly the Gross Profit at 28.66% however as a retired accountant the paragraph you detailed is the sting in the tail.

Clearly it is all to play for & looks to me that the calling of an early General Election may have caused delays in the achieving of the finance deal.

The opening cash flow at £25m is clearly why they are still trading it is now a matter of how much is left & how long it will take to get sign off by & we all expect Mr Hunt to have a Labour successor but surely an expected Labour Government would love to get its first feather in its cap by supporting Harland & Wolff particularly with the need for political stability in Northern Ireland.

With regards future turnover expectations in Yr 2024 the future looks bright & I am sure the company will get through the next stage time will tell.

PS I am the worst person to advise on where to put your money (ask my son) however people may wish to look at Sareum (SAR) who have just released positive trail data.The little money I have I am thinking of placing this morning.

Hi stokey12 - With regards the Falkland's bid & potential contract the Argentina situation I believe can be ignored & unlikely to be why we have not heard where we currently are in addition I believe that other contracts have been awarded i.e. I believe that the airport runway was extended to allow other aircraft to land not able to do before the extension.Finally the UK Government would not allow any 'foreign' country to stop any contract work in the Falklands however if the legal aspects of the current situation is it being taken to another level it might be a problem.
