Hi RichardMcV - Thanks for your post today & clearly there are people working in the background trying to reverse recent negative unjustified news.It is another great article & slowly the truth is getting out there.That does not mean to say we do not need news on the finance but we do & as soon as possible to end the current saga.Regards CM

Tonyh1975 - My break even is 23p but split between ISA & Non ISA.I have an average of 20p in the ISA & will Sell a few to pay for a tooth replacement.People on this board have varying beak even position under 20p & some seriously over 20p.

In my opinion once H&W finally land SS H&W then 20p is for starters moving to 25p plus towards the end of the year provided we have further contract news & a positive EBITDA for Yr 2024.

Hi stoked 12 - I have read both items & I believe they are significant particularly the timing & it is effectively in defence of the main sub contract being awarded to H&W which counters what a Mr Kevan Jones MP is saying.

I have retweeted the article & have said as much in the tweet.

I am not sure about something breaking soon but the discussed article is helping to change the mood music.

I am currently 'Holding' & waiting for that 20p plus moment.

Hebridean9 - The purpose of the loan is to pay off expensive debt & expand the Company at the same time so giving rise to sufficient profits to absorb the additional payments.It is time to be positive & look forward to a bright future.

Hi Lottie123 I totally agree with your comments & a formal trading update would undermine those who are sceptical about the Company. In addition there must be a plan B for finance which would allow H&W to continue trading if no £200m finance deal currently awaited is forthcoming.

Great post earlier Nobby31 & I concur with your comments hopefully all matters will be resolved in the next week or two.I am of the opinion that H&W is too big to fail & something the Government must realise.I wonder if under a previous MOD we would be in this position I doubt it.

Well its not a good look this morning with a further reduction in the SP so far today the money men clearly do not believe John. Very sad.

Hi Folks - The issue of forming companies that would allow ring fencing of funding is not new.Although the company will have an ultimate holding company i.e. Harland & Wolff Group Holdings PLC it can have separate funding ring fenced to that specific company.The only complications would be if the ultimate holding company had to guarantee the loan but provided funds were not passed down by the parent company I do not see any conflict with the £200m loan.

I am expecting news next week as the current saga cannot continue.

With regards the courts unless our case is subsequently inserted there is no listing for May.

Kaeren - Well spotted & just shows the lies some are telling to discredit H&W all to try & end the contract but as was pointed out H&W are the sub-contractors to a UK company owned by Navantia.I am showing Hold for now but if & when we get positive news the SP will rocket.

It is clear to me for one reason or another Mr Jones is clearly intent in sinking the H&W ship.

I have followed Mr Jones on many a Select Defence Committee session & it has always been clear he is always putting on his union hat & clearly he is against the deal because of the Spanish involvement.

In the past Ben Wallace would have given him what for but our current minister is silent he is as much good as a chocolate tea pot.

Some further point on this must be raised by H&W before we see a total collapse in the SP.

it is clear to me, based on todays rns, that h&w are close to closing the finance deal & that someone fearful of that has put forward a last minute scare story supported by a certain group of people who are dead against the spanish partnership i wonder who in politics that could be.

the good news is that within the rns there is an update on expectations for fw2024 with regards hitting the sales fcst & would seem to me may even exceed it.

the rns counters in black & white all the claims in the times article forcing the rns to counter the hit to the sp.

in summary the article is a load of *******s & i expect to be at post 20p in june 2024.

i am now showing 'strong buy' put that in your pipe 'mr jones'.

On checking the Court Listing this morning there is no IM JR case listed up & until the 27th May.

We are clearly seeing an announced news drought hopefully the SP will Hold.

Hi All I share people’s frustrations re the pending finance deal etc etc but I believe that JW & Arun are likely working their socks off for the key board warriors who are also investors here.The finance deal will be transformational for the Company but the Company cannot dictate the pace Government Dept’s work especially the treasury. Those of us who attend the AGM’s will , I believe, be pleasantly surprised as to what will have been announced by the next one.Time to stop rocking the boat sinking it we all loose. Regards to all.
