Thanks Crowfoot. Despite my having a brain the size of a small planet, I've been a bit puzzled - not to mention aggrieved - at the situation but nothing compared to some BB members (with pea-sized brains!).
Some of the wilder ideas - especially the conspiracies - on here would/should attract attention from even The Financially Comatose Authority, if true.
I really hope for the best for us all, not least cancer patients.
Amidst the tears, it really is quite funny! As the Markets and IIs ignored us for the last couple of years, we wisely (as we thought) laughed down our sleeves - 'What do they know, we are worth £200 ex-Bhutan, or somewhere! One day we will burst out and surprise them all!'
We heard much of how BP was (secretly) beating a path to our 'Data Room'; any minute now, we thought!
Word had gone around about the 'Data Room'. 'Good place to sleep off a hangover'; 'take that pretty secretary there, the wife will never find you'; 'free coffee and pies'; 'get paper and pens to take home for the kids'; 'let's go there to wind up staff and LTH, chat for a while and come out smiling and ebullient. Hahaha'.
Now look who is having the last laugh!
Not us!
Haha, last week, I saw that someone was worried that we were about to face a 'hostile takeover'. This week, I doubt anyone would even want the 'company'!
Our best hope is that a fully-armed group would like to have a word with the 'board' and that we then get a new one.
To think that so many sensible BB members defended Smith & Co and that we ignored the mystery disappearance of Fiona etc...........
AS should delay messing about with existing stuff and start producing very strong tranquillisers to calm down very angry and disappointed investors!
We all know the caveats about investing in general - and in AIM in particular - but sometimes investors actually believe in a share and its BoD; more fools us!
(I wanted to write 'Piece of Crap' in the 'Opinion' window but it won't let me!)
Great stuff! They have given us 7 whole working days to debate (interminably) what that RNS actually means!
Someones cup runneth over:-) But I'll hibernate for a while......
Anyway, let us all hope for the very best! GLA!
Whatever he, she or it actually is, they can't spell 'Sterling' properly (unless 'MB' actually lives in that Scottish City - in which case, my apologies). Quite an important distinction where financial matters are the subject.
Ah yes, someone has remembered the good doctor; otherwise known as the 'Placator in Chief'. I well remember his first posts that seemed to imply he had inside knowledge/contacts/mystical abilities and wanted to reassure us that all was well. So much for that....
I became very disillusioned with the lack of PHE progress about 3 years ago. Given we were supposed to have such an important environmental and profitable process, I just couldn't understand the lack of progress - or urgency; there was always something holding us back but that would soon change we were told by Dr A and others.
Someone was always telling us that an empty bottle could propel a vehicle a hundred metres, or something but it never did! Now we hear the hope that PHE might be able to fuel an aircraft flying 10,000 metres up! It would be easier to get pigs to fly!
I honestly don't know what went wrong here; lack of ability; lack of confidence; outright lies?
I sold out most of my holding years ago but am stuck with a few thousand shares. It would cost me more to sell them than I would gain. If this 'thing' was ever any good, it deserves better than this death by a thousand cuts. GLA.
Thanks G-Man. Just watched it as soared on its through the sky!
Patchy cloud here but could see it winking brightly as it passed over. I can read Morse Code but could only make out parts of it:
AV-T C-osin- Pric- Pl-ase?
We need Bletchley Park to fill in the gaps urgently, it might be important!
I had an awful feeling of deja vu when I read your nonsense. Now I understand your LSE ident.....
If you want to start with unecessary criticism instead of offering helpful advice, then expect people to reply in kind, you miserable old fahrt!
Watch him rush off crying to teacher!
Hmm, interesting that 1755 invokes that second link 'investing.com*'.
Anyone thinking of clicking on it should have a look on TrustPilot (not necessariiy recommending that either). Some very interesting stories about that company* on there. As always, DYOR carefully and without entering any personal, telephone or card details!
If you think things are bad now, just wait until the Pension Funds are forced to put their money into the Markets. Then you will see some real action! (But not by the FCA!).
According to a recent report, MP's Pensions will be exempt from the scheme. I wonder why? Surely they have a right to 'benefit' too :-)
