TA, why do you say you expect one of the two organisations will take place in any forthcoming Placing ?

I try not to get involved in Rach's histrionics but I did notice that she was quick on the draw when the Met1 share price fell fell sharply after a Placing. Can't seem to find a post from her stating that the price has risen to a level higher than when she posted.

That's an aside because this post is a response to TA's very good point that the market is perhaps looking at further dilution, especially with the baked in commitments to purchasing Greenswitch.

With Met1 it was a whopping 53% discount and yet not only has the share price made that up it is now higher than the price pre Placing., and that's happened in a matter of weeks.

So share prices tend to gravitate towards the Placing price, but for longer term investors they become less of an issue.

The relevant point here is that they are purchasing partly on the back of Trump's view on Greenland.

I understand why you believe BB's should have balanced views, but generally most posters have a pecuniary interest- a bit like Insurable Interest- so I will always find it odd that you post; that doesn't mean you can't or shoudn't just a personal view.

However, I do understand why you view 80M as you do

Would it not be prudent to argue that Disko and JL this year is either or. I say prudent because any movement on either project will involve dilution, at a very low level, either at project or shares in issue level.

As you know I know nothing about mining but isn't Disko first and foremost Ni although it holds a lot of other metals. ? If they drill will they look for everything or could they say look for copper and position it as a Copper project first and foremost Copper seems flavour of the month so to speak ? I say that because Ni projects are so cheap it is now cheaper and easier to buy them rather than develop thema nd companies like BHP are vacating the Ni space after shuttering their Aussie operations

If it was either or wouldn't it be JL ?

Surely the point about Greenswitch is an irrelevance, it's a nailed on certainty production will start this year; the question should be will the economics be sufficient to deliver meaningful value.

However, SAF is going to be driven as much by the airline industry as governments. Its simply too great a risk to their businesses to ignore.

Chicken and egg here but it clearly states that the cost differentials you mention are primarily down to scale- if thats the case the difference could be squeezed simply and significantly.

Any other ideas how you think Airlines will decarbonise ? SAF is the quickest and simplest way but perhaps you know of better alternatives ?

To answer your question very little. However, I was an IFA and one of the most stringent mantras was that past performance is no guide to future performance .We differ on a lot of things and that's why I am invested and you are not but I am not sure I agree with your timescales.i can take a longer term view.

I wan't trying to deduce A value for any of 80M's assets ,but just trying to suggest that there IS value in their assets.

Ashton ,FWIW Shenge Resources have a stake in ETM on ASK, so the Chinese have definitely been sniffing around in Greenland.

Some Chinese money for 80M, now that would get some attention!

Incidentally the share price of CM has bombed since Trump got into power!

Word on the street is that they paid too much for Tanbreez, $211m. for a 92.5% stake

Now comparisons are hard to make but it's not in production and their exploitation licenses were only issued 5 years ago, not much before JL and according to RM has less contained value than JL, so you can see the potential at JL, and Disko for that matter.

Thanks Ashton, I was aware of that video and it seems to me that JL is more attractive than Disko, save the latter has a JV partner.

In an article you posted from WH Ireland, it said perhaps the biggest challenge for 80M is allocatng resources which is not just about money given the skeleton staff thay have.. Will they have the management resources to have the JL, Disko and Greenswitch, plates spinning and if one project had to be delayed it could potentially be Disko.? That to me wouldn't be a problem if progress was made elsewhere.

ES in a TMS interview said that Dundas was the quickest " pathway " to cash, so with Greenswitch they may have found a new path- nothwithstanding Roches very sensible comments that they are an explorer and exploring is about finding resource not generating cash.

IvRoche- it takes on average 34 years in Zambia to build a mine!

I use Zambia as an example because KoBold are spending billions there.

K and companies like BHP can take a longer term view, not sure 80M can.

You'd think 80M will be looking at the short term and looking for the quickest route to shoring up the share price, rather than building mines.

If Greenswitch is to generate income, and £60m ish has been banded about on Twiiter, and is as an attractive proposition as stated in the last RNS why would you drill either Disko or JL this year- when the obvious and necessary dilution is aggravated by the paltry share price.?

This is especially pertinent given the Macro environment eg scarcity of capital for nickel projects. ie not wait until commodity prices improve.

Why wouldnt you wait until full ownership of Greenswitch occurs ?

I understand progress on Disko or JL could uplift the price to help pay for Greenswitch but you'd have to be very sure of your ground.

Where does it allude to JL having more resource?
