2 key events in the next couple of months - half year results which will be the first 6 months of births and licence which I don’t see as being a problem. Let’s see where we are then.....

Maybe div paid next year, 10% more from bkr and rhum 3 working all in 2020 so while no deal announced still plenty to look forward to.

Well said Dick. We’ve still got Rhum 3 and Columbus to look forward to. I bet it’s the Hardys as there has been a lot of selling recently? Clear the seller then we can get back to normal. I did always think and said as much at the time when it’s time to get out there will be a lot of shares swilling about

The div was guaranteed for this year so no surprise. Next years div will be cut without a doubt. As one poster said the business is declining yet the SP increases. Hold my Hands up and did say that this might touch £1 today - still believe that in the long term. You can’t have declining revenues and profits and yet the mcap increases

Yes the revenue for that was only down 6% from 2018

Sub £1 today would have thought - the numbers suggest a business in decline. I like how they try and paper over the cracks. Div flat which means a cut next year. Nothing positive here

The div is guaranteed for this year but going forward is not sustainable and I would think that they would want to cut this at some point.

Can see a dive tomorrow in the SP on the back of medium to poor results. Can also see ITV drop out of the FTSE 100 shortly if this continues to fall.

What will make the SP rise - no idea.....any answers welcome.

Them problem is that they aren’t doing anything different (except britbox which could be friends reunited part 2).

Happy to see someone take over at the helm with some new ideas....

Can’t think of any Solley and should have sold at £2.40 but hindsight is a wonderful thing

Quite easy to assess this and before anyone has a go I am a holder here. Some points to note - all negative and am sure someone will confirm the positives:

Ad revenue reducing
Pension liability increasing
£1bn in debt
Britbox won’t break even for between 3-5 Years
Revenue reducing

If you want to take a punt then fair enough but plenty of other companies that are doing well and that is despite brexit

NewKOTB might have to agree with you although still not sure. Results Sept or new deal will get this moving but until then we will be in a narrow trading range

So they asked just over 1000 people to ask if it would be a good idea - hardly a representative sample and 22% had heard of it. Mmmm interesting.

This better go down well and better than the friends reunited deal or this will sink like a stone.

Heading back to £1.10/£1.20 again. Great share to trade except if a deal is announced.... deals do take a long time so patience is the key

Will the sale of the building not go to shore up the pension deficit that was increased as per last trading update. Quite frankly, and I hold ITV, this is a complete mess. No growth, very large debt - why would anyone wish to do a takeover? Got to keep thing that there will be a miracle at some stage....

Net debt as of March 2019 was £981m - up £60m from December
