Its looking like the institutions shorting OCDO are rapidly regaining their losses again after some bad trading when the Korean deal went through - only one is badly underwater.
They will presumably take profit at some stage, especially Shaw with a start price of 925.6, so we could see another spike before the SP settles down.

It seems to me, that being relatively cash rich and needing more producing assets, that AB could look at buying a foreign oil company with no assets in the North Sea - maybe in Malaysia.

Ceres have never had plans for the large-scale mass production of fuel cells in the UK.
The product is required elsewhere as a component for other products in China and the EU.
Ceres business plan is the long-term development of product with revenue from licencing.
Their UK factory develops and shows the concept and supplies local need.

I guess anticipation of a delay has been priced into the SP for a while now and in this bear market any negativity is well overdone. However, this won't stop the SP continuing to fall in the short term, but eventually the SP will probably bottom out and stay depressed until we get good news.

I don't think Hunt will make any changes today to the windfall tax and energy policy in general.

The treasury report, due out next April, will be crunch time because that's when most of the fuel subsidies run out - Hunt then has to get to grips with how energy is priced to the consumer.

As predicted, we wait - China needs to get its mojo back - hopefully not too long.

These AIM shares are a bit of a lottery, but TRX looks much better than most, there is certainly value here but I suspect we might see a takeover before we get full value.

I hold three AIM minnows in an ISA from last year, I am down about 2% on TRX, up 75% on BBSN and down about 70% on EQT - all could still come good, it's been a worthwhile exercise with the potential for a big gain on at least one over the next five years.

The true value of Ocado Group is still to be revealed and its business model is actually more of a disadvantage at the moment because of the capital costs.

Ocado has often been compared to Amazon and that's certainly a valid comparison, but Amazon has tended to put sales growth ahead of technological advance on its to do list.

The real comparison, as I see it, is with Tesla and Tesla's strategy of vertical integration.

Tesla took a long time to come to profit because Musk insisted on keeping most of the processes inhouse - but this is the main reason why the business has been so successful in the long term and why the SP has risen so dramatically.

Ocado is following the same development program and although it's an expensive option, it will eventually yield the same results but hopefully with a little less drama than Tesla.

According to the BBC retailer Joules is near collapse - 132 shops - 1600 jobs at risk.

Shares are now suspended on AIM.

Not sure if M&S will look them over for the name - don't know anything about the group.

At the end of the day, adverse changes are more likely if energy prices are still high next April - the higher the cost of energy the more pressure on the Government - otherwise it becomes a non-issue with a single line repeal of the tax in a few years at a future budget.

My guess is that no changes will be made this Autumn but the Treasury review, due to publish in April 2023, will potentially contain new legislation to make changes or extend the lifetime of the windfall tax.

It's great to see that the Bosch PR machine are preparing the way for the commercial launch of SOFC systems in 2024.

Certainly, good news about the US inflation rate falling yesterday and its totally reenergised the NASDAQ.
Providing the downward trend continues - or more likely doesn't reverse - I think we can expect tech shares to continue their long-awaited recovery and hopefully regain their status as "investors darlings" - remember it's all about sentiment.

OCDO will increasing be seen as dependent on the US - Kroger - for its profits over the longer term and that will I think be very positive for the stock in much the same way as it is for AHT.

Maybe when the sentiment improves Kraken - that seems to be the only thing holding the SP back - nothing else I have ever invested in seems to be so lackluster to investors as ENQ and I never have understood why - it defies logic.
