Poor AIS means that it is unclear if NO is going for a hook up so far today but she has slowed down to around 8 knots so it looks like the wave height is still a problem and a hook up tomorrow is more likely.

NO is still on track to arrive at Kraken tomorrow morning - hopefully for an early hook up - she may delay until Sunday because the waves are still forecast to be quite high on Saturday - from Sunday onwards the forecast is for calm weather until the following weekend.

The real game changer and eventual goal would be green hydrogen produced at coastal sites with sea water using wind or wave power as a power source, injected into the existing gas network to feed domestic and commercial boilers incorporating fuel cells, also with electrical power generation properties.

ITM do have 8 hydrogen fuel stations across the country - in a partnership will Shell - another 3 will be open by the end of the summer.

I think that ICL would be more likely to buy the completed mine at top price rather than develop it themselves - maybe AA are anticipating this and will use their expertise and capital to build the mine then sell it to the highest bidder - ICL would have a lot to loose if it went to a competitor after building the market for polyhalite.

Any RNS that the market perceives to be negative will produce a negative response even if it is in actual fact hugely positive.

Excellent, NO is due to arrive early Saturday morning just in time for the better weather - should be able to hook up on Saturday morning - that's 8 days since NO last visited but AM probably had several days production on when she left.

The good thing is that Enquest have managed to maintain production at more or less the same levels as the Autumn, despite the awful weather - that has to be a massive achievement!!!

Still no shuttle tanker on its way to Kraken but with the weather not due to improve until Saturday there is still time - Saturday is just 8 days after the last tanker left although AK probably had several days production on board when she left.

Ingrid Knutsen was designated for this load but her destination was changed to another oil field - it has now been changed again, to Macduff ETA Friday 17.00GMT - just off the coast of North east Scotland - so she could still make an appearance at Kraken on Saturday.

IK has changed her destination - no other tankers are on the way to Kraken as yet.

IK is due to leave Milford Haven at 21.00GMT tonight - her schedule is unchanged with arrival at Kraken just after midnight on Thursday.

The weather forecast suggests that a hook up probably won't be possible until around lunchtime on Sunday - after that the weather forecast improves considerably.

Its best just to watch the traders earn there beer money than wait for things to settle down before rushing in and buying - otherwise just hold and enjoy the floor show.
I would guess that eventually the SP will settle in the low 90p's - maybe?
