Looking better at the moment - Asia up and Nasdaq futures also up over 1% - hopefully that will give Ocado a lift - end the week positive.

Another big step down for HUR today - dreadful errors by the geologists who did the original appraisal for their assets - their shareholders don't deserve the current outcome.

Unfortunately it could be a case of "Lamb's to the Slaughter".

An interesting rise in the SP today - maybe they have a buyer for the company [HUR] - if they have, the question mark over the reserves must have been sorted out positively.
Could it be Enquest? - probably not - unless EP could be adapted to operate that far north??? - then it would be an interesting option with two FSPO's at the field.

I think that all we are seeing is an adjustment after the SP went into overbought territory and some investors took profits - just like it did at the beginning of June - the NASDAQ fall acted a trigger for this adjustment.

I fear for you if you believe that to be the case - HUR may not have the debt but they probably don't have much in the way of reserves and even if they do they still have to exploit them - then they would have debt.

One thought - by Christmas EnQuest's SP will probably be higher than PMO's and Tullow's - PMO have a rights issue pending and Tullow are heading for the penny share mire.
Enquest is fast becoming the best bet for long term investors in small oil companies.

The MM's are pulling back the elastic band - eventually the SP will go ping!!!

Asian markets were not so bad - if we can get though today then hopefully we will get a small rebound from Ocado by the end of the week but 2500 looks distant unless we get a very good RNS.
Its looking increasingly likely that we will get a double dip recession - Brent in particular is very weak after KSA cut oil prices to find buyers.

It looks like the dip in the NASDAQ was just the start - the whole market is adjusting now - Brent has also fallen sharply - I guess the market just rose to quickly during this covid year and is now starting to come to terms with reality.

It seems like Morrisons have increased the number of staff they employ by around 25% since before the lockdown just to stand still while M&S are reducing staff and increasing food sales via Ocado - win, win for M&S and the margins are better.

More like corvid woes - not that the shorts don't take advantage.
