More news out of RSA - it looks like Omicron is far more likely to reinfect as its more transmissible - good evidence that boosters will stop serious illness developing - still appears symptoms are very mild - concern over patients contracting Omicron and other respiratory diseases, including Flu, at the same time.

Not deramping at all romaron - just saying that with Shell out the picture Cambo is an excellent opportunity for Enquest especially as they are a successful, respected and reliable North Sea player.

If Cambo does go ahead it will have to be with existing NS oil companies as partners, that will be the only way that it will be politically acceptable for the Tories and SNP.

Looks like the bottom to me - unless market jitters increase - probably an up day today.

Just one more point -
Given the intense political sensitivity of this project it will be vital that the partners are North Sea players like Enquest.
Involving some faceless foreign investors simply won't work - the whole project would be a no go.

It looks like you guys could get a chance to see what AB is made off - I wonder if he is up for a stake in this - it looks like a wonderful opportunity for the likes of Enquest with Shell running scared.

Just to clarify - that's for paint products etc - as distinct from the bio-based polymers detergents business that Akzo Nobel spun off into Nouryon.

The link up with Akzo Nobel has been ongoing for a few years, so maybe it is starting to approach a commercial phase.

Its all macro - nothing to do with CWR - totally irrational - hopefully it will reverse soon when we get more positive news on Omicron.
Also AIM showing its excessive volatility.

Small caps always show volatility - it goes with territory - the SP doesn't often reflect potential.

Its the companies that grow from these depths that give the best returns, like CWR for instance - they will be in the FTSE250 next year.

We all know ITX has a great future - the SP will reflect that sooner or later but the company needs to get bigger first.

Yes, we don't expect growth shares to go into reverse, but if it hadn't been for Covid then OCDO would probably have just slowly risen from March 2020 until today - that would be a rise of 600-700p.

Having said all that - its a p*ss poor day all round today!

I think we all need to concentrate on the long term here, rather than the short term - this is still the time to invest.

The Covid crisis pushed the SP heavily into over brought territory, it is now back to "normal levels" - whatever they are.

Just look forward to the results of all Ocado's endeavours coming together in the form of profits and dividends over the coming years.

Yes, we have had a long wait, its clearly being held back by Covid.

The recent updates have been encouraging but I guess until we see the end of Covid as a potent force the SP will remain in the doldrums.

It seems WTB will probably be one of the last Covid recovery plays, maybe that will help to draw in investors.

Personally, I will just hold and wait, there is no real risk, who knows we may even see a takeover contest - all that freehold property must be a draw.

I don't think the rising cost would put M&S off - Ocado Retail will be worth more and making more profit - they can even use profit from Ocado Retail to part fund the purchase - it just has to come at the right time for them.

As for the fund raise - one likely scenario is that Kroger, and maybe other partners, will be interested in increasing their equity stake in Ocado Group - that would certainly make things easier.

As the partners reliance on Ocado Solutions grows they will want to make sure that Ocado Group remains independent - holding equity is the best way of doing that and they can also share future profits when dividends are paid.

I notice that EQT don't release a Q4 trading update in December.

After all the news that we have had over the last few months a summary of the progress made and the long term benefits would I think be very beneficial - especially from the financial point of view.

Also, it would help to hold gains in the SP that look likely over the coming weeks - otherwise the SP might start to loose value again waiting for the March update or final results.
