It could be a very good year for Omi if Anza goes positively. Although the other projects are very junior, they all have potential to bring added interest. Nigeria/ lithium is a hot space for instance.

Don't think p&d. Webinar in December alluded to being close to an Anza resolve. Proof will be in pudding. Market was savage to c&m. Most long termers have substantially higher AVG than this.

Yeah that last one is supremely confident. Over the last week there has been some big buys as well.

I suppose if we are on the cusp of a positive Colombia update then your buys will be rewarded in Valhalla. Still feel and only my opinion, although a little momentum had built, we haven't seen Omi in full flow. Really just simmering at the moment. Players really only taking positions.

Agree bhargav bod have been shameful, especially to long term holders. Perhaps c&m caught them by surprise. 70pc is meagre. The amount of money that has been spent on Anza alone is at least $30m. Bod need to be kissing a lot of frogs to give LTH value. Most long term holders won't blink at 70pc. Maybe just maybe this will be our year.

It's good to see a little momentum here after what has been a pretty catastrophic slip in share price but it's got a lot of legs to run before it even gets back to what would be construed as "true value". The only reason the price is where it is today is due to the clarity surrounding Anza. A positive resolve there and this will explode and so it should. Not sure exactly what is cooking in the background that is merely speculation until we get an RNS but sentiment has shifted somewhat.

Hmm my spider senses are tingling.....could we be close to some news, that's the question.

All the best as well McGoogle... never expected care and maintenance so it is definitely worthwhile seeing all sides of the coin. It's not for the faint hearted anyway that's for sure, but for me anyway at these levels and at this point in time risk/ reward is worth an investment, though of course it's prudent to be cautious.

McGoogle I do share your concern but currently none of us know what coming out of care and maintenance will look like and if indeed the two majors are to walk, just one, another coming on board, or if Omi going it alone. Of course Omi will need money at some point. I think before spreading gloom we should observe what happens next. End of day current plan would be another 4 years to get through phase 2 and another 4 for Jorc so no point in getting crystal ball out yet.

It's probably the time to buy buy buy if been on sidelines or to average down and want a junior that has been battered down, potentially close to big news and in an environment that it can flourish. Sentiment is changed and the power brokers will be working hard to generate interest and secure salaries.

Omi must be doing all they can to try and get Anza back up and running in some form for this expected gold bull run. I invested here as I expected to be "drill drill drilling" in this environment. Big year for Omi, year of the dragon, there is going to be some fire pit into the share price, I can feel it.

Yes Jings. It seems rather strange that the major partners just did not cut their losses when they could have. Not entirely sure of the mechanism that we will come out of c&m but I am either brave or stupid to think that the project will. You make a rather valid point that c&m has given the brave an opportunity to increase their shareholdings, quite considerably for some I am sure. I myself have taken this opportunity to do likewise. It's been a really tough hold and add though. Certain at times I have questioned my sanity though what was an extreme drop in share price and baron run of confidence but the c&m might just be a blessing in disguise. 2024 is shaping up to be a good year for Omi for a whole host of reasons. Clearly Anza leads but certainly being in the lithium space is a very shrewd move (even if in Nigeria). Brings a completely different dynamic and investor type to Omi. So I'm excited, nervous but much more confident moving forward. I believe this sentiment is shared by most now.
