The sector in general is just a convenient side show to the performance of the Orosur management who have been truly diabolical since last September and the following public pumps re phase two drilling to high heavens and the awarding of bonuses for what seems like doing very little. The handling of negotiations and timeframes involved I did not expect. Orosur still don't have anything firm and in writing that Newmont want to leave the project? Just discussions that nearly took place 6 months ago. Anyhow yesterday's rise was rather speculative and around the mcap, risk should be palpable. So I can see how it is getting tasty as a trade.....perhaps shorts closing. I make it about month 5 of 6 to hopefully get Anza rectified one way or another as per May webinar and as talk of el pantano maybe resuming end of year, I can see why this pocket of the next few weeks is a good time to enter. Facts remain if anything seriously positive comes from this Orosur share price will rise considerably. However will it? Who knows. The share price performance/ company performance has been the pits for longer term holders.

Pump/ dump or leaky ship that is the question, though still it is bargain basement compared to the majority of holders who will be considerably down.

That's my thoughts Impecunious2. Obviously can never be sure and it's complete conjecture/guess work..but I never really got why Minera Monte Aguila would look to add another 14% equity in the project by spending an additional $20 million. Omi's mcap is now something like $4million....yet when phase 2 company is formed it is like saying Omi's 49pc is worth $4 million but in spend terms major's had to spend $14 million to get to 51pc and to go to 65pc they would have had to spend in total $34 million. Sums just don't add up here at all. Either majors are being mugged or it is Omi shareholders. The sad thing is it seems our board are complicit in this. I'd bite one's handoff for our whole stake in Anza to be bought for 20million.

They burning cash yep and I agree about a year. Not to mention funding potentially Brazil/Argentina. Money will go quickly. Also not sure if Omi can pull it off but preferred option was to buy out/dilute down Newmont for Anza if we take webinars etc at face value. If Agnico are staying and Newmont are out, I can't see Agnico funding all the drills? If say it was just Omi/Agnico we probably would need money for that which would mean a raise. Apparently we ar close to a news flow period..lol😄

Yes shareholders are getting restless, the Omi management team for the best part of a year (if not longer) have been taking the biscuit out of us, selling us down the river. The masses are locked out of voting for the good of the company and DJ Brad George and MC Louis Castro are spinning those free hits and scratching on the gravy train turntables "s s s s s ssss ss sss s ss sss soon".

On a serious note fair play jackbal and breaktwister. It will be interesting to see how you get on with these complaints. How can Brad be travelling the best part of 5 weeks and not have anything of note to share in RNS form is beggars belief, especially as news flow here is akin to a dripping tap. They have had a year to set up new company and iron out details? Something smells fishy. "s s ss s soon". The recent flagstaff interview could have been pre-recorded from 3 months ago, such was the information in it, or lack of.

If aim holders were able to vote, each and every one of the board wouldn't have a job. Incompetence here is on masterful levels...I still have doubts that they are this much of a f**k up. Who actually knows what's happening here though, I have my thoughts/ guesses. Apparently though, you'll be glad to know that we are close to a "news rich period".....oh right, we heard that before.

One thing I know, is the board have to bring something truly exceptional for any faith or trust to be instilled from current holders. Can they actually achieve that though? That's another question.

Tomorrow a year ago we received an RNS re phase 2. It stated that Orosur had been informed by MMA that it will enter Phase 2 under the Exploration Agreement. The formation of the "new" company was expected to take several months to form. Webinars of "drill drill drill" was the rally cry by Brad George aka "William Wallace". Here we are a year later in care and maintenance. The new company has still not be formed. Happy anniversary Orosur team and shareholders. Truly outstanding work by the top brass. I would celebrate this milestone with a glass of champagne but as the Orosur team have mugged their shareholders, I'll celebrate with a cup of tap water :)

Agree Seingred. I don't think Omi are doing anything currently to suggest that they aren't just merely a puppet. Certainly as there is completely silence, one can only guess. It definitely suits the majors for the project to be in care / maintenance, more than it does Omi. We are in Q3. If you go back to previous webinars communication prior to c&m, it was always Q3 that phase 2 officially would start eg legalities, contracts, new company formation etc etc.

Minor project news has not appeared also when it was communicated to come/ expected to come. Squirreled away?......Perhap, but who cares unless it is something truly exceptional.

To me we must be on cusp of a Colombia update. Who knows what that will contain or how long they will hold it out for as this company have form for not having results etc made public (Pepas results - sat on them for months).

My research has definitely shown to me that Minera Aguila are active within the Anza community (after c&m) and representatives of Agnico are keeping their finger in the pie at government level (after c&m) so I don't think the project is a busted flush.

What all this means, I don't have the foggiest but there are alot of smoke and mirrors. Can't say I am entirely confident in what will transpire and in Orosur management. But, if there was a time to earn those "free hits" time is now.

I think that's what we are clinging too. Should be bit of news to come from both Argentina and Brazil but obviously we all want some positivity to come from Colombia. Hoping that they haven't released the minor projects update as they want to release this with something more tangible/ positive from Anza. But at this point nobody has a clue what is going on. God only knows that we need some positivity here though. The last year has been disastrous and the men in charge have been supremely incompetent. It is extremely difficult for there to be any buzz when time after time orosur management under deliver. What makes it worse though, is that this has all come from a very bold and public exclamation on how awesome phase 2 was going to be. The market do not trust Brad and Louis whatsoever. At this point I believe it is completely justifiable. One even hopes they don't open their mouths as the share price sinks further into the abyss.

Good work getting paid to travel around the world, whilst a few soil samples are collected here or there... Any jobs Orosur? Serious note, Comms non existent...not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing :)
