Its been a very muted news response to our 'ModiFY' trial announcement.

Are we still such an unknown quantity ?

You would hope at least one bio inspired journalist will seize the opportunity to report on how amazing it will be to live in a world where cancer tumours can be melted away.

It really is science fiction on the brink of becoming science fact.

I must point out that I do realise that its not proven to work until it does work and the data is there for all to see.

Actual dosing of the very first patient is a pivitol moment. All of the last 10 years work, all the lab work, all the data gathering and the huge task of getting MHRA approval, all that effort comes down to that first injection. It is the true first test of Moditope.

The reaction may be muted but I think it will come down to how the press coverage is organised and whether Scancell make some noise about it. The fact that our CEO has recently been keeping a low profile suggests to me that the 'FPD' will be heralded with gusto.

Now we know that at least one patient was enrolled on the 7th April at either Nottingham ( probable ) or Edinburgh Clinical Centres, the 'First Patient Dosed' RNS is likely to arrive in the next 2 weeks. I'm still allowing 3 weeks to establish all the base lines before they move to actual dosing.

Therefore my guesstimated date would now be Wednesday 27th. Any earlier and we know that Scancell are really moving things along at a pace.

There must be a great deal of interest from large pharma Co's making enquires to Scancell about potential future discussions on positive ModiFY results.
It may well be that the current SP is far from a priority.

I say this to reason why there is no visible promotion from the company.

Lets see 'FPD' and that they have not immediately had any problems ( which I doubt will happen ) then with Moditope finally doing it's thing inside a human being it is game on. Internet reports, TV, Newspapers and Interviews.

No you are correct it doesn't mean it will happen but :

the inference is that Immunobody as a Platform including Covidity would be seen as non-core and a large pharma company could for the right value acquire all of that asset. AvidiMab would be excluded but probably licenced.

This may happen pre-phase2 or after phase2 has the proven the Covidity data.

Scancell under these circumstances would continue to develop ModiFY, GlyMabs and AvidiMab with a huge bankroll in place.

May be that we will have to wait for 'First Patient Dosed' RNS and then LD will step in front of the camera on that momentous day.

3 weeks from Trial announcement to Enrol, take all necessary history, take all bloodworks, catagorise and finally agree a date to administer the initial dose.

My earliest date would be W/C 9th May latest W/C 16th May, so I will say 10th May.......

My opinion only but I cannot see how it could be much sooner unless these protocols have already been started knowing the MHRA approval was close.

Very exuberant rise today around 70% at one point, it comes as no surprise to me that some decided to take a profit. The SP should settle down and then continue to rise more slowly as the news spreads.

We have Covidity data to look forward to inside the next 3 months, maybe an update on the SCIB1 / Keytruda single patient with hopefully more to be enrolled. First patient dosed in ModiFY in a few weeks time, with AvidiMab and Glycan Mabs both in colaborations, its no wonder that the news today has been received so well as it clears away any concerns that there was something amiss with MODI1.

Absolutely the best piece of news from Scancell in many months.

What a fantastic RNS.

While we waited in increasing paranoia Scancell were building up to this potentially 20 site Trial expansion, plus those clinical centres want their checkpoint inhibitor patients added to the protocol.

We have waited and waited for this trial to start and it looks like we are now just weeks away from the very first patient followed by many more I hope.

Well done Scancell for achieving these Trial Expansions......

I think you make a sound point. If the current delay on MODI1 is not due to the capacity of the NHS to deal with our trial then I do not know what it could be. After all we were Trial ready with all systems go just before Christmas.

This has to change at some point, Cancer Trials have to be given some kind of priority.

Hasi is a Player..... its quite obvious and he has more or less told us that he tracks certain stocks and reads the next probable moves up or down, takes a profit and waits for the next opportunity. Everyone to their own...

The 28th should have some good news on the Decline progress as they should be through the difficult layers by the end of this month.

You beat me to draw, I've just bought 134,803.
With the investment from Redmile at 14p I never thought we would be able to buy at a price this low, only in my opinion, unless we had received a very negative RNS. AIM is a fickle market and todays value bears no resemblance to the 'potential' of just one platform being validated. ( AvidiMab in Covidity is one possible Validation happening right now ).

Someone is bailing out in £10.50 lots..... That could go on for years.... lol....

Looks like the market makers are trying to get a few nervous ones to jump ship.
100 share sales moving the price down and that's how they do it.

The only thing playing into there hands is the lack of info on the 2 cancer trials.
Start of the 2nd Quarter tomorrow and it would be a courtesy to us shareholders for the company to explain exactly where we are with the trial centres / enrolments.

The longer this silence on progress persists the more serious it will seem to be.

The original uplift of the SP to 27p was solely due to Scancell being seen as a Covid Vaccine 'Play'. That influx of money soon turned to profit taking and settled back around 22p. The delays 'due to covid' on all three trials obviously dented the SP even further. The Oversold position we are in right now came about when the government more or less pronounced that the pandemic was over and Covid was confined to the bin marked 'similar to the common cold'.

As it dawns on people that Covid 19 has not wandered off and is still causing major disruptions to our everyday lives (which will only increase towards the end of the year) a fully validated 'Covidity Booster Vaccine' will be up front and centre.

Just look what is happening in China at the moment, the whole world needs a Universal Vaccine and we may well be one of the first vaccines to prove itself worthy of that title.

11.24p a share is a real bargain given the potential values of Scancells 4 Platforms.

I agree that is very disappointing, I can only think it is down to the capacity in the NHS to set up and run cancer trials.
If that is not the reason I'm struggling to think what else it could be.

What we need is a full explanation from Scancell as to what is causing the delay.
