I surpose the minimum news we all desire is that the size of the ore body is still undetermined but there is definitely enough justify a mine.

That would be enough cause a re-rate but still leave plenty of scope for the next 3 - 6 months.

What prompted my question was when you said earlier that it looked like they were stepping back and maybe, just maybe, putting in a straight hole to define depth of that step back.
It made me think that Newcrest could delay the big news because it may be a while before they can determine the actual structure size / tonnage / gold ounces.
Also I'm sure GH will want to have a clear understanding of the facts before he is willing to start serious negotiations.

So that's why I'm saying let's keep our feet on the ground and not expect too much on the 24th.

If it is the big full on news well,
I for one will not be complaining.

As a relatively recent shareholder and not being as technical as quite a few on this board I am learning very quickly the complex nature of prospecting GGP style.
From all the info gathered on this board it does point towards the body of mineralisation at Havieron ever increasing in size if not already doubling.

May I ask, what if Newcrest want to play things down for another month or two while they get a handle on what size of ore body they are dealing with.

With all the information that we have, that is definite,
"Will they be able to kick the can down the road on the 24th"?

I think the better the outlook for Reneuron the faster we deal with the Woodford issue.
I would dearly like another fund to be confident enough in Reneurons future to buy him out completely. That will be a good day.

Also just point out that my buy is showing over on the NEX platform (RENE. GB. PL). There are currently three trades on there all at £1.70.

My buy at £1.70 is showing as a sell so I presume all those at that price are buys. Taking in to account the potential of a positive presentation over the weekend I just couldn't resist at that price.
Sentiment is a fickle thing and there is a good chance that all the blank spaces in data we've been discussing all this last week or two will be filled in. If the message is totally positive I think many will realise this has been well and truly oversold.

Also if what we have is relatively inexpensive compared to other existing treatments and is also well tolerated, then Reneuron are definitely on the front foot with very good prospects on the deals front.

Anyway I'm very much on the glass half full side of the argument.

On listening to the AGM when Sally was put on the spot about having all 25 patients enrolled by end 2020 she didn't guarantee that it would be achieved and said she would do her best.
Without the USA arm to the trial it will be nigh on impossible to hit end 2020 so we need to be prepared for mid 2021 earliest.
But, that's not as damaging as it may seem on the surface. We will be given upto date information probably every 3 months as more data is collected. If we do see the first 3 / 4 patient's tumors desolving away at 3 or 6 months we will know the combination is a success, it does not matter if the time lines are stretched out in this case.

My frustration at the moment is the length of lead in time being taken, it will be a good day when we are finally told that the real part of the trial has begun.

Feels like there is more to tell but we're going to have to wait until either this Thursday the 10th when Olav is presenting or until the main conference at the weekend.

Michael Hunt is confident they definitely have a treatment going forward which is excellent to hear and we'll understand more once we have the full facts.
Also the data will continue and we'll hear in the new year the 9 months data of all patients.

As per the AGM and the recent updates it does all point to a positive conclusion being the final outcome of that collaboration. I'll be quite happy if we have to wait until January as long as its a really good deal giving Scancell some revenue early 2020 to help pay for all the MODI 1 trial start up costs.

The next 12 months could or should be pretty exciting stuff.

Just sticking with the Biontech collaboration and thinking about the fact that it started in Jan 18, Scancell have put a lot of work hours and laboratory time into their side of the arrangement.
So do we know how much effort is being put in by Biontech or is it all a bit of a free ride. I'm only asking because I don't ever remember this being discussed.

I certainly don't mind being corrected that's why I asked the question. Scancell have that many coalfaces it's difficult to pin each one down. Take Avidimab, Biontech have their own Mabs platforms but they may well want to connect to our new tech sometime in 2020.
Being a long time holder of Scancell is fascinating and sometimes frustrating in equal measures.
I really do feel we will wake up one day soon and the news we're all waiting for will be a reality.

Patience, if it is a virtue then a few of us long termers must be pretty virtuous... Lol

Given all the updates we've had on the Scancell TCR Mabs and the progress being made towards fulfilling Biontech's brief to get a deal done, I'm wondering how soon after their Nasdaq IPO will we get the nod.
Is January 2020 to soon??

From last weeks news about the Biontech IPO :
"At the midpoint of the range, BioNTech would exit the IPO with $742 million in cash and equivalents. BioNTech has earmarked $100 million of the IPO haul for clinical development of three wholly owned off-the-shelf shared antigen immunotherapies and its share of the R&D budgets for candidates it is developing with Genentech, Sanofi and Genmab".

But more on point for Scancell :
"BioNTech has allocated $35 million to take CAR-Ts, T-cell receptors and mRNA-encoded antibodies and cytokines through phase 1 and set aside $20 million for preclinical work on other programs".

Your discussion about how to dig into the RNS data just proves that without all the missing information we cannot be certain and for that matter confident what we think is in fact right.
JD99 your analysis of the 0-6 months makes sense but we don't know what happens next.
Let's hope that a lot of the missing blanks will be filled in at the conferences end of next week.

I'm sure the story is not as bleak as some would like to make out.

Welcome Narrative,

That's exactly what we now need from the company, a set of data results showing the journey of each patient. This is a small sample size and for those patient's joining this trial it was a big decision. We don't know any details of age, health or other eye damage / surgery in the past.
There was a comment about the two patients who lost their sight where it said there could have been previous retina damage.

We need to be aware of all these issues before jumping to conclusions.
Still think there is a Woodford investment hatchet job going on that has definitely influenced markets sentiment of Reneuron.

All of my own opinion please do your own research.

Good Morning to all Rene holders.

Two things that could have gone better with this latest RNS.
It seemed rushed, not fully thought though, lacking in positive language. I know it cannot be full of irrelevant waffle but could have been couched in a more positive way. So the RNS just seemed to say dissapointed but results not what we expected. Added to this was the interview where the blame was badly put onto two poor patients who lost their sight, suggesting that the results would have been much better.
The other thing is that the knives are out for anything associated with Woodford. It's as if some press reports were written with glee that another Woodford investment hadn't made the mark. Many headlines were joyfully announcing 'Disaster at Reneuron' but as you read deeper into the reports it is plain to see that the trials are still outstanding and the future will mean that patients will be given the chance of better and longer eye sight.

The importantance of how the company present the positive side of the trial data at the upcoming conferences is now critical not only for the share price but for the potential to do deals.

The RNS stated the following :

"A total of 22 patients have now been treated in the Phase 1/2a study and a good safety profile has been established, with no patients experiencing product-related serious adverse events and two patients experiencing surgical procedure-related loss of vision".

So nothing to do with the stem cells but everything to do with the surgery. It could be due to all manner of reasons.
I am sure that if I was told I would lose my vision in three months but there was a treatment that although having surgical risks attached, if successful would save and improve my overall sight, I'm sure I'd want to take my chances and go ahead.
So your suggestion that the benefit only grows as the sight declines means that in the end all RP patients will want to have the procedure and why wouldn't you.

Well done ..... you have certainly worked out how to follows the bread crumbs, you're a bit of a Sherlock .....

So you have made me realise, I've been doing this share buying all wrong.
I just need to tell a broker that I want, say 1 million Scancell Shares at say 5p and then the MM's will do their stuff and make it happen.... I now feel such a fool.

So question : Who do I tell ? lol......

Most of the recent inflation of the share price was just speculative money. In other words, bets...
Talk of "£10 or £12" just to lure in people looking to double their money and either top slice or leave.
So the trial is a success but not to the extreme that most hoped for.
These are still great results and lessons will have been learned.
I also think a fuller explanation coming at the conference will result in a higher SP, this is well over sold.
All in my honest opinion.

Thanks for that confirmation, I think we have all waited very patiently for that information to arrive.

Once it happens I will feel that we have at long last turned a corner and the share price will begin to get back to fair value. Which for me is in the 14p to 18p range. In other words around £70M to £100M MCap.
