The announcement was obviously not made on a whim and the directors taking pay cuts to push out the cash runway all adds up to some serious commitments.

There must be many weeks lab work backing up the proposal so will they have actually had CV-19 in the lab to test their hypothesis?

The SP had risen so fast and at such a huge plus percentage it now looks obvious that there would be a correction using hindsight.

I'm relieved that NC didn't try to take out GGP for 11p or something we would have seen as outrageous. To my relief the results upto the 31st March were everything we had anticipated and now we can go play 'find the gold nuggets' at Scally and Black Hills.

I'm going to sit back, put my patience hat on and just enjoy the next 3 months. Plenty to come.

Patience is required at the moment.

They certainly would not want new money to come into the business until they have fulfilled all obligations to the US loans. There are a strict set of circumstances, if adhered to, where there will be no need to repay anything.

I'm hoping for a funding announcement on or around the AGM, normally held at the end of June I think.

I'm quite happy that I have been able to gather up a good few shares while it's been low. So for now though I'm very content with the shareholding I have but may buy some more if funds become available and the price is right at the time.

I can't see how the global effort to find non toxic treatments for the corona virus and its probable mutations, will not include some form of funding for Scancells technology.

That would be such a missed opportunity.

What's different:

Newcrest had them drilling in 40degrees summer heat 24/7 on extra extra hourly rates.

I did buy 5m, not the biggest deal ever done..... I viewed that buying in price set against the recent purchases and the opportunity for a JV, well worth the risk. I think I'm content with that amount while I learn more about the business.

To have some monetary interest in a stock certainly focuses the mind.

At the end of January the minimum the resource was already over 5m and probably close to 10m ounces.

Since then we have all those extra rigs going 24/7. So what do people expect tonight from Newcrest "we've tried our best and only found another bit of gold".

Havieron is twice or three times the size it was at the end of Jan, tonight is a case of what are they prepared to tell us at this point.

Newcrest (Telfer) need Havieron, Sandeep needs to raise the moral of Newcrest, don't be surprised if he spills all the beans........

I think I have finally sussed out what's going on....

They've got themselves involved in one of those scams, you know the one, where some army colonel has put £180,000,000 in a bank account and they want to send it to the uk, for a 10% fee.

Vulpes have sent them the £160k to pay off all the dodgy officials.

So apart from having to row across the channel in a dinghy to collect some documents of an Albanian Sheik we are in for £18m........

How that works I don't know I'm trying to make sense of it because it's a totally senseless thing to do when you have £4m invested in a company that has just announced a the potential of a new platform against coronavirus.
