It looks like most of the rise in the SP came from short term profit hunters and not serious investors.
Nomlungu did point out that what we need to grow the MCap is progress with the science in other words provide positive data.

The other day I posted the question of why the BOD have not tweeted or released an update on how the CV-19 collaboration is progressing. It was just a question aimed at discussing topics about Scancell the company in May 2020. The board at that point was descending into a rant fest.

All the immediate government and global attention is on the promises of the quickest fix, even if they are just hype, because it gets the media of the backs of the those in charge. This collaboration with the two Nottingham Universities and Van Geest must be going through some form of 'Application and Justification' procedure otherwise surely we would have been told by now. That begs the question of where the funds will come from and how much upfront cash will the project need.

So today my question is :

'Is Scancells science so difficult to understand that our Government and the Global authorities charge with finding a possible vaccine just don't trust that it can be delivered' ?

RENE have been self sufficient since the £68.4m capital raise in 2015. Although they have been excellent custodians of that money they do seem to have lost touch with the need to impress. Its just become all about them and the science.

I'm not saying that its intentional but a condition of always seeing a very healthy bank balance over the last five years.

I posted on the 9th April a rough current cash position and once Fosun Pharma start trials in China they are due further milestone payments. The cash in hand will see them well into 2021 but maybe by then we will have seen deals on Exosomes and hopefully a further deal or two for the CTX and RP programmes.

It is frustrating bumping along at the bottom but I have used the recent falls to buy a few more shares.
My long time target is hold 40k of shares but there may not be enough time for me to reach that figure before some positive news pushes the price back towards the £2.50 to £3.30 range.

Thinking logically, we have a second facility in San Antonio that I presume is more or less empty. Let's say that TRX are going to manufacture a slightly different line of products, as it said in the RNS, under 'White Label' meaning that our name is not on it. The top ten bio company would want to launch that new product as theirs, so to keep the competition off the scent we are not allowed to say who it is.

If we recover all costs plus the cost of new kit plus rent on the facility, plus a little profit it's all 'grist ta mill'.

It's great to discuss the possibilities while we wait for the facts, bit like 'stick the tail on the donkey'.......lol

If you read the the last RNS and ask yourself, "would the company announce a 2 year deal with a global 'top 10 in Orthopeadics' supplies co, if they were still unsure where the rent was coming from in August"?

Although no one on here knows all the facts and can promise anything, you basically need to use your own judgement.

The 2019 Year End details should be published by RNS around the first week June. So if they are going to hold off any funding news until then we have 3 weeks to patiently wait.

If the SP starts to move before hand its either the 'sell on news' brigade or those in the know positioning themselves prior to the funding announcement.

We won't know which but the price is bound to rise the closer we get to June 1st.

The day we hear that funding has been agreed is the day I'm opening a bottle of Glenmorangie 19 year old...... I know any excuse........

I thought that the year end report would be in May as per last year and posted to that effect but this was a posted reply by 'Attrick' last week......

May I just add that I personally do not trade. I keep a close eye on the stocks I'm holding but my strategy is to hold long term in companies that I feel have a fairly good long term prospect.
TRX, RENE, SCLP and GGP currently.

Think of you buying increments in a share that is rising. Each purchase is a step up.
Lets say you bought 12 separate steps up ranging from 1p to 2p .
If for any reason the share price starts to fall you can sell 2, 3 or 4 steps ahead of the drop therefore always maintaining a profit, as long as you sell each step for more than you paid.

That's a very simplistic explanation but Averaging Up allows you to have more control and not lose your original stake money. It's for traders really but it will help you be more confident with your holdings.

Very good points but when I first heard of Scancell it was the accessible nature of this board and what I absorbed from the grown up postings which were mainly to do with the science of SCIB 1 and Moditope.

Just recently its been a place of political wrangling far from the central point of this board.
We now have the potential of new investors who may just feel the way I did, given the chance.

There will always be passing traders and private investors with itchy feet but amongst them we could attract new members to the board who have something to add.

I do also take your point that it should not be a kindergarten either.

What a very unwelcoming board for any first time investor in Scancell Holdings.

Having been here for several years I'm quite used to the intellectual debates on here that descend into the nit-picking of who pasted which part of who's message. Plus it seems, who has the biggest biology homework book......

At this moment in time we need to encourage people to the board and show them the potential of Scancell the company and keep reaffirming the worth of all the Cancer platforms.

Currently I scan the board and find I have nothing to add because its mainly full of back and forth spats.

Question :

Why do we think there is a delay in Scancell reporting back to us shareholders that there is actual interest in their joint proposal to tackle CV-19 ??

What is a fair MCap for a fully funded, fun functioning Tissue Regenix?

Turnover 2020 between £15 and £18m and assets worth £40m as a low ball figure.
Is an MCap of £80m unreasonable?

That's roughly 6.8p per share, these are fag packet calcs, but shows just how far and how quickly this SP could rise.

There are a few on here that are long term stalwarts and believers. For me it's always been about the relevance of the products in todays healthcare settings. I always felt that without the demise of Woodford the company would have progressed at some pace.

Strange to tell but I've just completed series one of the Last Kingdom, last night. I've watch seasons 2 and 3 before but wanted to rewatch them all before starting on the newly released season 4.
I guess you are probably doing the same.

I think we can now enjoy the next few years watching the progress of TRX and and reaping the rewards of getting in at this ridiculously low price.

Yes, funding plus a big tie up with a large medical supplies co would be amazing. It's taken the company a while to get their act together but it would seem the products have shone through.

There can be little or no risk left here after todays RNS, a deal this big would just not work if they were still scrambling around trying to find someone to help with the finance.

Been patient here for some time but it looks like it's all 'tucked up'.

The notice of the year end accounts and the AGM were both in June 2019 so it's safe to assume the same this year.

Unless the Big Pharma company involved has asked for anonymity for a period of time, I think we will be told within the next four weeks.
And funding as well, it may as suggested, be all tied up together.
