Lithuania has a deadline for crypto companies with VASP licenses to transition to a MiCA-compliant CASP license, which is June 1, 2025. All existing VASPs must obtain the new license by this date to continue operating legally in the country, though MiCA officially took effect on December 30, 2024. A final extended deadline for submitting applications is January 1, 2026, but this only applies to those who submitted their application before June 1, 2025.
