This is you imagining things. But Angra Zoo great! go and make some money with it ! Im far more interested in the EMI app that is 13 months old, as that has far more consequence for the group short term and the regulatory reach it can give Angra. You get EMI this does fly........but again the BOD being coy with words gives me the feeling that EMI has failed.

The MiCA application is for GS Fintech UAB (the Lithuanian subsidiary), evaluated independently by the Bank of Lithuania. It focuses on crypto-asset services (e.g., exchange, custody, potentially stablecoin-related). The Polish entity is a separate subsidiary under KNF oversight for fiat payment services only—SPI status is a light registration, not a full authorisation, and doesn't cover crypto activities.

Different regimes: SPI allows basic fiat payments (transfers, accounts) up to volume thresholds but no e-money issuance or crypto services. MiCA CASP authorisation requires specific crypto-focused criteria (AML, safeguarding, capital for crypto risks, etc.). Ownership by the same parent (GST) might show group strength indirectly, but regulators don't typically credit one entity's fiat payment registration toward another's crypto license—especially cross-border.

No direct synergy for stablecoins: If GS Fintech's plans involve a stablecoin (e.g., prior GBPT ambitions), an e-money token (EMT) under MiCA would need the issuer to hold PI/EMI status. The Polish SPI doesn't qualify for e-money issuance. Asset-referenced tokens (ART) or pure crypto services need CASP anyway.

Recent context shifts focus away: GST's Lithuanian entity missed the MiCA transitional deadline (end-Dec 2025), halting operations there temporarily.
