WW, The pricipal holds true with most FPSOs but not the AM with the detachable bhoy, but I think that it is unlikely that any issue will arise that would have it rtn to dock this year or next. But given the the POB restricted to 70ish, I think that it will unhook and return to Rotterdam if any substantial work is required to the Topsides or to facilitate gas export prior to Linwick tie back to the AM. That said, by the time that happens then I think it will not be Hurricane's concern, or mine.

Perosonally I do not see any sort of planned extended stay in Rotterdam, just long enough to drop the plate and attach the top half of the flare stack. If the weather is very kind then we could be hooked up by mid Dec and, fingers crossed, FOil by Mid Feb 19.

Ak, it might be tax free but the aditional cost of bunkering offshore may eat into any saving plus a lot of Ports are still classed as tax free. Maybe bluewater can pull in some favours and get mates rates in Rotterdam being that Hugo J Heerma's brother owns the offshore fabrication yard in Rotterdam.

SXX, if you like although it would be a very watered down upside on positive news although a reduced risk on not so positive news. I have no gripes with RB/CA but investing there does not interest me in the slightest.

Trying to work out flow rates by offloads would be not only extremely hard but pretty pointless IMO. I can only assume that the reason people are doing this, or attempting to do this is to try and beat the "market" on good or bad news. But in reality there will be far to many on board the FPSO for it not to be known by the wider community, unlike drillers where news can be kept to a select few, on the AM all the Marine team, CRTs, Proddies, Sparks, Safety, Deck crew, Planners, Scaffs etc will all have to know. So to that end it will not be hard for the RBs and AKs of this world to find out and trade before the average PI has a clue what is happening. I for one will not be relying on Tanker movements when buying or selling next year but good luck trying if thats your thing.

Very few on here have even stepped foot in a shipyard (with maybe the exception of WW and a couple of others) or even worked in the industry but are now expert critics - and although there has been some outstanding research done by a few non oily posters, those few are outnumbered by the posters pretending they have contacts in DDW or pretending that they are in the pockets of the Majors OCs. -- those clowns are talking complete bollixs.
What Hur have achieved so far in this project has been exceptional IMO, if the FPSO came out the yard a couple of weeks late then no big deal, because the norm is for 50+% over-runs on those types if projects.
PS. - We know that Scotland is cold in the Winter, that it will experience icy winds and that WoS will not be a duckpond, and if we know that then so do the planners - but there has not been a year that I can remember where there has not been a lots of winter weather windows that would allow ample time to get on location a hookup. Weather and delays are not risks that overly concern me regarding this investment.

Nope. Any deal would have to ensure that Totals options were included. - but 437mmboe is still massive, then factor in Namibia and approx $24million cash in bank (after Total Farmin). This looks rediculously cheap.

I really do not see why any II or indeed retail investor should be subject to criticism for buying or selling shares in a Company. Surely all are here to make some money and if that works for them/me then so be it. People would be better off if they concentrated on their own entry and exit prices and portfolio rather than everyone else's.

Eco on TSX opened and 12% up as expected, but large volume, relatuve to their daily average (double already) going through across there. Looks good.

Malcy talks about a minimum of a 5 bagger from 40p, possibly a lot more if the CPR is a stonker (fingers crossed) - also as we mentioned earlier, the COS has risen hugely acording to MGW. - Whats not to like here.

Not sure that the Company will be able to sit on the CPR for to long as some suggest, as I believe Tullow will recieve it simaltaneously, so anytime for the CPR and certainly in the next couple of weeks now. Hopefull some volume next week and the SP well into the 40s before news. IMO, if the CPR confirms that there is anything more than 1.5billion barrels recoverable then the this will move quickly. I also think that the COS will have hugely improved with the Siesmic and Exons drill results down dip. My only concern is that the Company accepts an early Takeover - €200million is small change to Exon or Tullow, maybe even Total if they decide they want a bigger share of the licence and Eco' potential 300million barrels of ROIP.
