If it entered an agreement with SOG group as reported "to take over an additional 10000 square foot of additional space, for new state of the art facilities" as reported a couple of weeks ago, - so surely we can assume that it is doubling its size to 20000 square foot, or is that my simplistic understanding.

Phoebus, I ignore the Canadian listing, the volume is next to nothing, although the volume here is also still too low to read anything into any small SP rise or fall IMO.

I couldn't agree more, although a certain poster has a model that not only predicts his buy and sell points, it also predicts the weather and commercial shipping forecasts. Ph, $100mill.to FUND a bid, would result in a bit of about $130million (my calcs are that after the Total decision, ECO will have about $30 million cash) which would mean a TO in the region 60p a share - yep you are correct, probably no where near enough, particularly if the 3D is looking good and the CPR also.

Yep, keeping an eye on how it finishes across the pond as well. I suspect that it may be just confirmation that Total have all the Data, but maybe something else on the cards.

Of course, it is also possible that Tullow will try a cheeky takeover if they want a bigger slice of the license in Guyana and indeed Namibia. $100million would be relatively easy for Tullow to scrape together which may be enough to fund a bid acceptable to ECOs share holders.

Phoebus, I don't expect the CPR to be complete for another couple of months yet, what I do think that we will see this week is an RNS saying that ECO have delivered the final batch of 3D to Total - triggering the 120 days that they have to decide on a Farm-in or not. - remember Total asked for 120 days to give them the time to interpret the seismic and make a decision - But as ECO have delivered the seismic to Total in real time, Total will already have the majority studied/interpreted/referenced and the decision could land in the next few weeks. I would be very surprised if Total do not take up this option, although if they do not then, IMO, Exon will want the lot. SP wise - News that Total has received the last of the data should push the SP up a couple of points, but the main one will be Total taking up their option to Farm-in, which IMO will see a substantial re-rate in the SP, even more so than the CPR.

TNY, I agree, and think that this may well drop back into the 20s, which is why I sold my holding last week, that and because I wanted to top up on another share which has news imminent (hopefully). I do however think that when ECO announce (anytime soon) that the remaining data has been forwarded to Total then we will see a reversal as then the clock starts ticking - and then news that Total have taken up their option and farmed in should take this SP to new highs, good number in the coming CPR will also reflect positively on e CPR so a lot to look forward to over the next 3 months or so, not including Namibia. Although highly unlikely, let's hope that I can get my timing right for buying back in here before it does take off.

Yep correct, they owned just less than 20% until November, nil sold but percentage reduced due to placing. Always better when the Management have a lot of skin in the game. So like I say, when this goes North it will be hard to buy in and all that would take is for some serious investors, not necessarily even fund managers (a wealthy Private Investor would suffice) to decide to take a position here and it could re-rate substantially. IMO.

Bear in mind that IIs hold at least between 50-60% of the shares and the Jog management own approx another 10%. So with only 21.8million shares in issue, when the SP starts to rise properly it may move quickly.

Interesting and honest interview from the CEO with Malcy from a couple of weeks back.(link below) - "potential 5 bagger on Verbier alone" (not including Cortina, Verbier and other areas of interest). So if the Recoverable oil is towards the top end of what StatOil are suggesting is recoverable in Verbier alone - the SP, according to Malcy and the CEO should be around �10. Rig contract now signed, fully funded for this drill and a lot more in the bank which could be used to fund future drills or the aquisition. - IMO it looks like the Spud date will be early Aug' so clock is now ticking. Disagree, at regular income would not happen on this licence for another 2-3 years minimum, plus ECO would also have to find 15% of Opex to develop. Once we have the new CPR June time, hopefully showing a couple of billion P Resources then I think that we may see some interest - even at a very discounted $1 a barrel on 1 Billion barrels undrilled prospective resources - that is worth �1.10 a share. IMO

If the 3D is as good as hoped then there must also be a chance that Total will make an offfer for ECOs remaining 15% of the licence or Tullow may decide that a complete TO of ECO makes a lot of semse.

Joey, I think you still have your UKOG hat on, real companies do not really care about the day-to-day SP and as such do not have to try and keep or attract the short term traders like UKOG, CTAG etc. Longer Term retail investors and IIs also do not really bother about the SP unless they are topping up, so those levels are great, they can see the bigger picture and potential. This is why IIs hold more than half JOGs share, with UKOG they IIs held Nil %. JOG management hold another 10% of the Company. (UKOGs. Management - Nil) and I suspect that with JOG there are a lot of savvy PIs building a decent holding that are also quite happy with the SP at those levels. This one is!!!!!
