Guitarman I believe here is no share transaction to open the short, just when it is closed and shares bought.
Hence only reported once closed.
Could be wrong as never shorted.

Month 4 of FSP finishes - 3 months to put offer on table, 1 month DLA to do what they do!
120 days up - again 90 days to put offers in, 30 days for DLA.

I love the way posts from Bots are always recommended instantly by 1-2 people. It is as if they have 2-3 accounts and instantly recommend themselves.
I can just see them at the end of the day going, record day today, got 14 recommends then realizing oh! they were all from me to me!

I don't think you buy or sell shares to open a short. just buy to close so there is no share transaction to open one so no reporting. Could be wrong as never shorted. They can't have opened ages ago as the price would have been lower that the close price.
My count there is still 40m+ shares MIA over last 1.5 weeks.

If you are happy with your research forget the noise. Remember if this board did not exist, or you never looked in you would never have come across the ****e the bots are spouting.
They just want you shares cheap and if that isn’t the case, (worse still) for you not to make as much money as you could.

It wouldn’t surprise me if they had a offer before the fsp was announced and the fsp process is all about seeing if a better offer can come out of it. IMO GLA

Bloody close BID price remaining at last spread number and not updating to close SP (UT). Minor thing but ****es me off as HL account showing a loss today of 1p which is a load of crap. Sorry! GLA

We seem to know be sailing without the shackles of MM accumulation. GLA

I have been trying to work through what potential is happening and have 2 views
1) accumulation, mm’s filling big order. Keeping sp down to do it. To do this they must be selling shares to manipulate the sp down or sheer buy pressure would make it rise.
2) someone selling a big order. Buying pressure keeping sp at this level. Mm’s struggling as buy pressure is big. Example they lost control this morning. Could this be the placement shares being sold back into the market at 50% profit as ii’s have different buy/sell triggers compared to pi’s.
Question is which one is correct and how you do you work it out? Consensus on bb is big buy order but why?
The SP is what it is so no real concern as either way once finished north we head.
Just intrigued and wondering if anyone has any views/answers.
