201 will require a further trial before commercialisation

The limiting factor from a timeline point of view will be getting enough participants in the trial. Only patients that are unresponsive to their current treatment, or are reacting badly to it, are likely to be referred for participation in the trial and then only if the GP/consultant is aware of the train's existence. It is all very well being allowed to increase the number of trial participants, but you also have to find them.

401 is currently a 3 way split both financially and structurally. IMO this will cause complications that will slow down the route to eventual commercialisation. I have no doubt that 401 is a good compound, but I fear the path ahead will be torturously slow. How long has it been since the partnership was formed and what progress has been made since then? I think the answer to this question will illustrate where I am coming from...

IMHO 201 could be commercialised within 2 years, if we are lucky and there are no setbacks. Much longer for the rest.

The easiest way is to get a quote on your trading platform, that way you can get the live SP of any share you wish...ATB.

The vast majority of us are retail shareholders, we like the idea of investing in a company that has saving lives at it's very core but we are not scientists so do not know how long it takes to commercialise a product. Once invested we get bored waiting for results and end up selling at a loss to move what remains of our cash into other stocks with a more immediate potential return.
When the company needs money there is a lot of hype and a placing that attracts more new investors and the cycle repeats itself with the result that the SP continues with its downwards spiral.
Of course there are also those who genuinely believe in the products being developed and who are reluctant to sell at a loss so they ride the spiral and average down along the way in the hope of eventual success.
No prizes for guessing where I stand - the ride has barely begun...

I saw a buy for almost 1.45p go through a few minutes ago, so still going up.

If first income from Kalengwa really is only about 2 months away ( let's say three to give CB some leeway) then there should be a few 'milestone ' RNSs before then to update us on the progress made, which means the the SP could be well re-rate over the next few weeks/months rather than waiting for hard rock news at Manica.

So the SP could move a lot faster than many had expected, so why would anybody that paid 3p, 4p, 5p or even more for this share, when it was in a death spiral a couple of years ago, not be happy to pay 1.5p or 2p now that the company has a clearly defined strategy and is moving towards significant income on several fronts? Assuming, as you say, they have the cash available, that is.

It is based on this argument that I have topped up a bit this morning.

Hello Andrew, looking back on my figures that may be a complete LOM figure in USD (about 4 years of 6000 tonnes at $6000 per tonne) without applying the 25% sales discount that I used? Of course tax and production costs would also have to be deducted, as you subsequently pointed out... But I am sure Daz will correct me if I'm wrong. ATB
