I find it so difficult, perhaps 'sad' is a better word, to find that so many people invest their hard earned cash without understanding even the fundamentals of PLCs.
The share capital in the company has been issued at NOMINAL value of 0.1p per share. This has absolutely nothing to do with the actual SP at any point in time. As there are 752M shares in the company this means that their NOMINAL value is £752K ( at 0.1p per share.)- Again, nothing to do with the SP or market capitalization of the company.
By seeking a mandate to issue shares up to a NOMINAL value of £752K this means they can issue up to 752M shares, regardless of the individual price they get for each share when they are sold.
Bottom line is that they can double the issued number of shares in the company. If the SP were 1p then they would be able to raise £7.52M.
So it is very much in the interests of the company that the SP is maximised in the short term...
