Oiltap - Yes - I agree with those points. Key point which I believe mainly derisks the Star Zinc project, is that Zambian authorities want the cash flow (tax / royalties, etc), so will issue the Star Zinc mining licence AND encourage JLP to agree to off take agreement.

Interesting article on challenges of operating in Zambia. Hopefully GLR is too small to pose any threat to nationalistic authorities.

Does anyone know if Align purchased the shares, or were they given to Align by PFP in leu of investor services?

Assuming Kenmare have 50% of the licence makes no sense, when the RNS clearly says that PFP have witnessed proof that the 50% was transferred to Chinese.

I work on corporate M&A in energy sector for a FTSE company. The NPV and yield assumptions and conclusions in that article look fair enough to me, and are the basics of any due diligence before investing in any company. Never ever buy any shares based on NPV predictions alone.

ORCP investors really do need to learn from more advanced NCCL coal power project. The LOI (which is non binding) and JDA (with GE and CMEC - two of the worlds largest companies), did not move the share price, it just carries on drifting lower until FC.

ORCP SP is following exactly the same pattern as NCCL SP. NCCL is much more advanced than ORCP, so ORCP investors advised to study NCCL history over last two years. Main learning from NCCL is that SP drifts lower and lower until Financial Close. ORCP is definitely a very long term bottom drawer stock.

I think Align assumptions are fair. Their valuation of 7p is close to my high end valuation of 5p. I’m just dubious of the abundant 30-50p expectations.

Can you explain to me what leverage PFP with the Chinese in these negotiations.

A lot of PFP PI invested at 1.0p to 1.5p. I should imagine the ramping is to provide an exit for those holders. I will hang on for my 3-5p target.
