The BIT claim that Cairn Energy just successfully won against Indian Goverment, commenced in 2015 and was awarded in early 2023. Eight years……

I’ve been accumulating Smellbeans Kefi shares. Now holding approx £200k at average 0.78p. I don’t see much downside, but do see enough upside to shave 5+ years off my not too distant retirement.

I’ve worked in resource industry for 30+ years. Many of that in Africa. I know the risks, and the rewards! Kefi looking good.

Danners - the person (Tekele) who issued that warning was later kicked out of MoM for corruption, ie 'warning' was essentially a bribe.

Cairn Energy recent BIT claim settlement with Indian Government, took eight years to settle, so ‘cusp’ and ‘rerate inbound’ may be a bit premature.

3-5 years for Bhukia BIT claim resolution, but nice when it lands. Not one for the instant gratification rainbow chasers.

I don’t recall this being posted on this BB. Shows that BIT claims are successful, but this example took eight years!

After years in the wilderness, feels like we are a few steps from the finish line.

With hindsight, I’m wondering if this sentence from the article “ It comes months after authorities issued a warning of possible license revocation over Kefi’s delay to present $80 million equity capital for the project” is actually related to demands of the corrupt MoM who has now been replaced.
