Morning all , expectations not meeting reality for some and I get that but are those expectations set fair ?
I don’t know is the answer, no one does ,altho my own faith and bullish approach here is based on the fact that we have just raised 48 million quid in a massively oversubscribed placing and primary bid offer, so much so ,they added another 3 million on to the original amount ... and all completed in record time ...and lest we forget during a world pandemic where for many ..money is so hard to come by ...so what does that say as a vote of confidence for and in Avacta ?

truly incredible outcome
I realise the fund raising was a shock to many but we are in unprecedented times and u have to grab the opportunity of a lifetime in the lifetime of the opportunity and like it not, that time for Avacta was now ...and fwiw I think it will prove a master stroke in the fullness of time but that’s just my opinion.
The real plus though is by having circa 55 million in the bank to not only advance covid ..but to also develop the real Crown Jewels ...the therapeutics, which were always the outstanding value drivers for Avacta long b4 covid came to the fore ... so it’s simply an awesome step forward as these have already shown that they could be total game changers in the fight against Cancer ... so the sooner the better
Back to the present & the fact that the Boo boys have staked their reputation & a huge chunk of their wealth into setting up Medusa primarily to service the Avacta offering ..is yet another big indicator to me that this will happen soon ...as they know a sure fire winner when they see one .
Notwithstanding all that we’ve now got a large strategic US investor on board following the capital raise that hasn’t even been revealed yet and that could be mega .... who knows
As for today’s Rns I’m pretty sure it was the 11/5 when we shipped the Affimers to the US and Alastair has always said mid summer.. is when the test would be ready ..which I interpreted as early July rightly or wrongly ...so in just 4 wks as of today we now have a proto type that works and is now going onto the testing phase with no apparent defects in any way shape or form and seemingly meets all specifications as far as we know
So on the 9 th of June given where we are ,I reckon his mid summer prediction of early /mid July makes this news today pretty much on track as whilst
I openly admit to being no expert but anybody thinking a prototype cud be produced trialled, tested ,approved and ready to go in a month is possibly over estimating the actual reality ...but hey we’ve all got our opinions and rightly so
For me the story is just getting better and better with every brick in the wall making me more confident that this one day very soon will out its true value ,which is why I’m staying put and adding whenever I can , but that’s just me ... Have a great day fellas all keep well and all stay safe

I understand fully why there would be some frustration at this news today as it does dilute the shareholders and clearly the points raised by myles does leave me wondering, but on the flip side as he rightly says for a company to raise 45 million when it was only valued at 25 million just 10 weeks ago gives us all a reminder of just how quickly the landscape here has changed ... it’s nothing short of incredulous ... look I also know we were supposedly funded til 2021/22 but the reality is we are in unprecedented times the world has turned on its head ffs so do u just watch it totally consume u or do u change with it and reposition urself to make urself stronger better prepared and primed ready to deal with it ? I know what I’d do in that scenario .
The other fact is we were valued at nearly 400 million and yet earning comparatively wise Just 2 balloons and a whizzer and even the RSI was prob in overbought territory so a pullback In truth was inevitable looking back .
So despite the initial surprise and frustration regarding the obvious dilutive effect on reflection I reckon it’s a massive step forward and says to me that the company and investors buying into it are supremely confident the impending inflection point will be passed with flying colours
The ultimate bottom line is if that happens then the current price represents a terrific buying opportunity and so I’ve added more on the back of it but that’s just aimho fwiw . GLA

Morning all, Seriously, that IV with Andrew Scott today is just mind blowing in terms of the possibilities here ,if as an investor, u are prepared to give this company half a chance to deliver on their potential .
The stark reality is that all the current blockbusting multi billion dollar treatments ... in 2020 ...yes multi billion not multi million are all monoclonal antibodies just like the ones Tils specialises in ....monoclonal antibodies ...and more importantly in just 4-6 weeks time the so called crown jewel drug in our portfolio Foralumab should be entering into phase 2 trials in humans to test it’s efficacy .
Look I’m no expert on body language but GC came over as being pretty confident that this drug targeting 2 high profile illnesses have every chance of being successful based clearly on what he knows already .. and better still the delivery method they use via both capsule and nasal application will ultimately prove far more effective than the usual intravenous method.
Better still the IP in both these formats belong entirely to Tils which makes it entirely unique in itself if it does come off of course
Interestingly , he expects results will be due in just 12 months time with a multi billion dollar market waiting in the wings if he’s proved correct .
My point is if we then add in Milciclib which one itself is a potential blockbuster ,the Covid 501 offering which I think could be huge personally and then add on Stem PrintER on top of all that ... unbelievable fellas

Morning all , another great Rns today and still crazy cheap at these levels and agree Totally that once this gets the approval of wider circle of scientists such as these at Asco this weekend then that’s probably when the accelerator will be pushed Full throttle ... in the meantime just seen this issued by Quilter which indicates to me that they may have finished selling as the settlement for all the shares they’ve bought back to reduce their costs is today the 29th ...so unless someone is selling as well Atm I reckon the clock may be ticking as I type for a re rate any time soon ... Ur right in one sense as no one does know yet as to how this will pan out until we get a lot more information and then after all that it has to be voted through but there’s never ever any smoke without fire and that in itself tells us all that they must be doing this for a very good reason and that can only be a good thing whichever side of the fence u are on
For me the company must have more of an inkling as to why all of a sudden a week or two after Asco and the revelation that Stem Printer after being independently verified by 2 specialists in their respective fields considered this offering to be far superior by as much as 30% than the market leader
As JCA has eloquently spelt out that following this news there are some pretty obvious possibilities that there will be huge interest in it by a number of big pharmas along with Exact sciences of course after having just spent 2.8 billion on what they thought was the worlds best only 6 months ago ... so it’s a fair bet they will be considering all those options along with plenty of others for sure .
Placing an accurate valuation on it is almost impossible but come on it’s got to be worth a tidy sum for all the reasons stated in JCA’s post with numbers and calculations that seemed more than reasonable to me
It’s like Zebbo he may be right but I doubt from looking at his posting history he’s even invested here so he would say that as it’s not one of the other pharma shares he is invested in ... I get that but don’t get why he’s posting his opinions on here other than out of disappointment it’s not one he’s currently in ...but aimho
The huge selling by Quilter of late has held this back big time and I’m pretty sure there were only 4 million shares traded Friday but most of the buys would been have neutralised by quilters selling and clearly like on this BB Friday the penny simply hadn’t dropped with many people as what’s being proposed here as let’s be honest ... it just doesn’t happen that often in my experience at least
Bottom line is u pay ur money u take ur chance but this is an incredible opportunity whether u simply stick with what u have or buy more either way I can’t see how u can lose as the therapeutic drugs alone are worth the current share price and news could drop on any of those at any time especially the covid one but then add in a business that outperforms the market leader by some margin ... but which cost 2.8 billion ffs just 6 months ago .. its a no brainer for me even if it’s not for u which i respect fully I might add but either way it’s going to be an exciting ride GLA

Mate that post at 10:50 is simply awesome and explains perfectly the scenario being considered by the likes of Exact science and other big pharmas who have big pockets to break into a very lucrative market with a product superior to the market leader ...more importantly it explains to simpletons like me as to why what seemed like a back of the sofa offering can suddenly become such a valuable asset and why this situation right here right now potentially offers any one invested here ,a golden chance to substantially increase their wealth by even doing nothing more than hold on to their existing chips ... For me personally their entire range of therapeutic products and what can happen with those is simply enough for me to stay put but having this drop into our laps is an unbelievable bonus .

The Board is taking the necessary preliminary steps in preparation for a potential spin-out, including the incorporation of a new subsidiary to hold the relevant assets. The Company will also put proposals to shareholders at the Annual General Meeting to obtain the approval necessary for a capital reduction which will be required to implement the demerger.

Notwithstanding that the required approval for the capital reduction will be sought, these considerations remain at an early stage and there can be no guarantee that the demerger will be completed. The approval of the capital reduction will enable the Board, in due course, to declare distribution in specie of shares in the new StemPrintER entity to existing Tiziana shareholders.

(Pretty clear that is the intention imho )

No record date has yet been set for the entitlement to shares in the new StemPrintER entity as a number of technical, legal and accounting processes need to be completed before the demerger can be formally put to shareholders of Tiziana for approval. For the avoidance of doubt StemPrintER will remain a group business until such time as shareholders formally approve proposals for a demerger.

So a bit to do yet but looking good for existing holders I’d say based on this official Market update

Hi Rob all shares at these levels carry high risk mate that’s how it is with many intangibles to deal with so the truth is no one can say anything is safe for sure and certainly not on Aim but my point is I’m pretty sure u bought in here based on the things u did know about this company at the time of purchase maybe the covid offering and their 2 other treatments which appear to be top class and progressing really well and knowing that the CEO and scientists working here are all at the top of their game with countless successes behind them
This matter now re Stem Printer is as I’ve stated earlier a very recent advancement and one that very little was known about by many until the game changing news about the little publicised Stem printer which now potentially catapults it into an unbelievable Brucie Bonus for all invested here
The reason being for u as an existing investor it adds significant benefit to what u already have at no extra cost to u whatsoever Ffs ... It’s awesome news potentially mate and look I for one will be adding more but that’s just me and no advice intended but having looked and digested that’s news yesterday it’s quite simply a value adder ...for absolutely nothing .
U will either get extra shares in a spin off company worth a lot based on what we know .....or if Stem Printer is sold then Tils will still have its therapeutic treatments but a big stash of cash in the bank ... thereby raising its market cap and share price hugely at the same time
If nothing comes of it ur no worse off but what’s the chances of that ? U must decide but in the meantime news could land on any of it’s other offerings and if so that’s promising in itself

Morning all , so my understanding here is that Tils sees a great opportunity to split Stem printer being a Genomics based Operation as opposed to the company’s principal focus of therapeutics but why would that be I ask myself ?Tbh I hardly knew anything about this strand of the business til recently and Gabriele admitted in the Iv there was probably no added in value to the current shareprice until now in truth
Well the answer is simple in that up until recently it had hardly been pivotal in the company’s marketing drive until the truly stunning results of its incredible comparison to the worlds leading breast cancer prognosis method at the Asco conference ,where it was independently judged by 2 experts in the field as being far superior and possibly up to 30% more efficient ... wow times a lot !!!
Unbelievably this comparison was to a business swallowed up by Exact sciences just 6 months earlier for a whopping 2.6 billion dollars .... a phenomenal sum
So what does that make Stem printer worth ? Scary
Furthermore u would expect Exact sciences and many more to be wanting a piece of this surely .
So It would seem Logical if b4 anything did happen and rumours are rife from what we hear that by de merging it now and separating it completely will make a deal happen far more easily or so one would have thought
The big win for us shareholders is that by holding Tils we will possibly benefit in 2 ways .... if it demergers as a stand-alone entity we all get shares in stem printer which is fantastic news and then it’s how many and how much will they be worth ... well do the maths ?
If it’s sold how much will anyone have to pay given the recent assessment at Asco comparing It to the best bought out at 2.6 billion Just 6 months ago
So in that instance let’s say even a giveaway at 1.6 billion that’s 10 times the current market cap and lest we forget we still have the covid offering on which news could land any time and we also have the other big 2 treatments both at advanced stages in their development later this year..

Anybody still unsure as to why that today is not good news or remotely doubting the sharp shrewd and insightful business acumen of Sir Alastair .. just simply needs to listen to that interview he’s given today on Directots talk ... and absorb what he’s actually said ... It’s Just awesome the big point some have possibly missed with the medusa Tie up is that it primarily focuses on Direct to customer sales only and from listening to him about the deal itself (assuming it takes off of course) it’s going to be very lucrative ... for Avct for sure ... thereby making it a superb add on to what is already a fantastic offering in every sense Aimho

That’s a ridiculous assessment there are so many incredible statements within that Rns that tells u much about where we are and where this is heading far from management not knowing what they’re doing I feel it’s the total opposite firstly there’s no mention of anything holding this back except for regulatory approval ffs so no doubting the quality or validation of it and it’s talking about distributing this in the U.K. Europe and the US which suggests to me Avacta will hold control over most of that and better still they’ve got a profit sharing arrangement not just a small cut of the cake here but a big f o amount potentially ,
There are also more deals likely as Medusa only have certain rights from what I can see so I’d say the complete reverse and think Alastair has got all our interests at heart tbh but that’s only my opinion albeit contrary to yours fwiw ... GLA

Afternoon all , I usually go with the flow on Bbs as we are all entitled to our opinion but Im not entirely sure why anybody who may be invested here has ticked up older and wisers post as he’s just taking the proverbial ... his last post on here was sept 19 saying what a bag of spanner’s investing in Tanzania was ,so my reading of that is the chances of the self appointed sheriff of aim being invested here range between nil and nil -look he may be right for all we know at this juncture and if he is fair enough but if he isn’t, then maybe he will come back on here at some later date and admit that and simultaneously advise us that a change of name has been required .GLA

This below is in the telegraph today highlighting the big difference between an Antigen test and an Anti body test ??

An antigen test detects the presence (or absence) of an antigen, not antibodies.

An antigen is a structure within a virus that triggers the immune system's response to fight off the infection. ( I didn’t know this technicality b4 I must admit )

It can be detected in blood before antibodies are made.

An antigen test is effective because it can take a few days for the immune system to build enough antibodies to be detected in a test

(It must do likewise with Saliva obviously )
however, antigens can be detected almost immediately after infection.
Antigen tests are used to diagnose HIV, malaria and flu........
So for me at least Antigen tests have to be the first port of call ....undoubtedly

Just going back to early birds point about the share price right now ... a classic case of the market maker mugging people out of their shares this especially if anyone is suckered into selling them at times like these ... where the reality is on the flip side that u can’t actually buy a bean at the same time as it b4 goes NT for all amounts (except for 10k In this instance )
The reality is they must clearly be filling a buy order so once u sell ur shares ... it’s a fair bet the price ,will more often than not , go up and u get mugged off time and again ... be careful u don’t get stung ... GLA

Ps bloody hell I see the price has now gone up 25 cents .. not complaining at that ...but watch out for the sells turning up later in this last hour or so ..robbing bar stewards those mms !!

Yes totally agree the pieces of the jigsaw are looking like they are finally coming together ... great to be back over 3p for sure and any one selling now will surely be paying a lot more to buy them back in a few weeks time hopefully ..GLA

Seriously with what we know already and more pertinently what we know is coming with this share why would anyone even be thinking of selling even 1 share the potential and upside here is absolutely unbelievable and if ever there was a golden ticket to be had it’s surely this but only in my very humble opinion GLA
